Re: The Jersey Thread
Thanks, guys. I'm busy creating a table as we speak! I'll try to have it up by tomorrow or Thursday. Keep the info coming.
BTW, the Jays wore their blacks randomly at home. The blacks were worn randomly on the road too, but not as often as they were worn at home. I thought that the weekend+winning streak would happen last year too, but I'm pretty sure they didn't wear them on their first weekend series at home last year.
Mets fans: I'm pretty sure that they wear the whites for the weekday games and the pinstripes on the weekend (or the other way around?) with the blacks thrown in randomly. Anyone confirm?
Oakland: When are the yellows being worn? Are the green ones worn at home now that the black is gone?
I'll post more questions soon as I continue working.Fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple LeafsComment

Re: The Jersey Thread
Oh, I got a couple easy ones. The Tigers wear white with the white D on the hat at home and grey with the orange D on the hat on the road. The Yankees wear white with pinstripes at home and grey on the road. Hopefully everyone knew that, just didn't wanna leave em out. lolComment

Re: The Jersey Thread
Here's a visual of the Ranger's uniforms to go along with mctrees02's post:
The Texas Rangers used to wear the home whites with the red jersey being used on Fridays and holidays. However, last year they switched it to being the starting pitcher's decision.
Their uniform options are:
Home
Blue Hat/White Jersey/White Pants
Red Hat/White Jersey/White Pants (not very common)
Red Hat/Red Jersey/White Pants
Blue Hat/Blue Jersey/White Pants
Road
Blue Hat/Blue Jersey/Gray Pants
Blue Hat/Blue Jersey/White Pants
Blue Hat/Gray Jersey/Gray Pants
- CJ Wilson always goes with the Red Jersey combo at home and the Blue Jersey combo on the road.
- Cliff Lee only chose the White at home and the Gray on the road.
- Tommy Hunter typically (not always) went with Red at home and blue on the road. Sometimes he would go with w/ red hat at home for afternoon games.
- Colby Lewis didn't really show a preference last year. He did go with White most of the year but then moved towards Red late in the year. He also was split on road jersey options.
So yeah...it's up to you what to do with the Rangers other than when CJ is pitching.

Re: The Jersey Thread
Just in case you didn't know, the uniforms pictures everyone has been posting of their teams are coming from that specific team's Wikipedia site. It might help you when you are putting together that table. I can't wait to see it!Thanks, guys. I'm busy creating a table as we speak! I'll try to have it up by tomorrow or Thursday. You never know. They threw in those throwbacks to throw stupid people off!Oh, I got a couple easy ones. (I used "throw" a lot in that sentence.)

Re: The Jersey Thread
i made a post about the jays units a few pages back, but I may have errantly listed the "T" cap as the alternate road cap, do they still wear those, I honestly cannot remember from last season? Thanks, guys. Also, wikipedia doesn't show the road alt. or the powder blues (i LOVED those!), i assume they will still be worn this year, as I haven't heard otherwise...Comment

Re: The Jersey Thread
Thannnnk you.
The Wikipedia pictures are not very accurate for teams that wear one top on the home and road, like the Jays. I don't use them for that reason.
Basically, it's just like Wikipedia in general.Fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple LeafsComment

Re: The Jersey Thread
Quick question, does anybody know if the white Astros alternate jerseys are in this year? Or were the red home alternate jerseys not in last year? I don't remember which one was out.Last edited by jeffmanqb3; 03-01-2011, 10:03 PM.Comment

Re: The Jersey Thread
Since Doran has a table in the works, I'm not going to have anything put together by tonight. It sounds like his table will be very useful for our seasons. Thanks
