Please, please, please tell me there is an option to have retractable roof stadiums like the rogers centre either open or closed. If they did not put this in the game I will be extremely disappointed.

Nope, no retractable roof movements. I believe they said it would be a huge undertaking, just recreating the stadium I think is a several month process.

for anyone thats started/finished or willing to sim a franchise

i know that bullpen logic has been tweaked but how is that effecting things so far? everything more spread out? are closers finally getting better stats concerning innings pitched/strikeouts? imho theyve always been too low..content with every other stat but this one bugs me!

Did The Show include little Tidbits Stats or Factoids that pop up as overlays on the screen to make you feel like your watching a telecast?....Similar to the way NBA 2K or MLB 2K does it?

If not, has there been any improvements in the stats they provide during a game?



Also, anything notable added to FRANCHISE MODE that may be worth mentioning...Like a new stat, or record books, or new features that may not have been in The Show 10?


Thanks, I love Franchise Mode...so anything that can immerse me more into this mode would be exciting to know

You can have:

Day/Night
Sunny, partly cloud, overcast, or rain

You can also choose the number of innings you want to play.

Thats fine, i would be busy with the game too if i had it.

That's too bad. I don't care about seeing it move, I just want the option to have it open or closed like you can do in madden. As a Jays fan and someone who usually just plays franchise with the Jays, I won't be getting the game this year. Huge letdown.

I've been hoping for it to be included in a game for years now. The only game I remember it being in was ASB 05.

the Yankees website says the 3/31 game is a 1:05 start, the next game is a 4pm'er. on 4/1. I typed 3/1 by mistake, sorry

So the April 1st game for the Yankees in the show will not be a 4pm start time like on the real life schedule?

Guess seeing the 4pm lighting is gonna be a rarity.
Unless they pick random start times for the franchise games.

Just fyi, so you at least know why they aren't in the game, the dev team has to rebuild the stadium from the ground up with the roof closed.

Its been stated a few times that the faster you push the stick up, the more velocity you get on the pitch (analog pitching)

I can't reproduce that in the demo no matter how hard I try. Whether I flick it up at hyper speed or at a smooth slow pace, the speed of Lincecum's 4 seamer is 94-96

Do you guys who have the game all agree that the faster you push up the stick the more velocity you get?
