Which pitching camera do you use? For example, from behind the pitcher a pickoff to first would be L2 + [] and from the catcher cam it would be L2 + O.

      1 tap = casual throw

      2 taps = quick throw

press and hold = deceptive throw

Say I have adjusted some things in the CPU pitching sliders, but then in a game I am ONLY doing the batting (and doing a 'fast forward half inning' when it's my turn to pitch) ... Will my team's pitcher use the CPU pitching sliders because the CPU is simulating that half inning, or will he use the human sliders because he is on the human team?

Basically I've made some changes to how often the CPU pitchers throw strikes and how consistent they are and I just want to be find out if this will negatively impact my pitchers or not if I sim half innings sometimes.

Sliding tips? I've tried using the right analog button like suggested but I can't seem to get it to work.

You have to make sure the runner you want to slide is highlighted and you are in control of them before inputting the slide you would like.

has anyone else noticed there is only one set of "partly cloudy" clouds when you do that in an exhibition game? Not sure if there are more variation when you do a season or franchise, but so far I have only seen one look..

in the demo, each game was a different cloudscape, they had tons of them

With analog hitting, will you have more power if you pull farther back on the right stick?

I'm assuming the left stick is not used for anything. Aiming (left-right) is done with right stick.

You pick your swing types before you actually swing. You have contact O, normal X and power []. So pulling back more is not going to do anything. As you mentioned the left stick is not used for analog hitting.

So, if you forget to pick a swing type I'm assuming normal x is the default?

Correct it always defaults to a normal swing if nothing else is pressed.

Sorry if that has been answered, but is it best to adjust the horizontal and vertical size so that it fits your screen or are you supposed to leave it as is? I have my PS3 set to be optimized with all 4 boxes checked. Do I need to remove all of them except for 720P?

Not postive, but it seems like moving the left stick with timing hitting helps instead of just pressing a button to hit, is that correct?
