Just got called up to the bigs! Never in previous years have I went to the bigs so fast. I would always do one full year in AA, one full in AAA, then go to the bigs. KInda want to stay in AAA a little longer to hone my skills though. O well. Anyways here are my stats.

    2011/AA: 27 GP, 6-1, 1.64 ERA, 9 GS, 82.1 IP, 85 H, 15 ER, 69 K, 1.12 WHIP.

    2011/AAA: 15 GP, 9-1, 3.51 ERA, 13 GS, 89.2 IP, 101 H, 35 ER, 61 K, 1.23 WHIP.

    2012/AAA: 4 GP, 1-1, 3.52 ERA, 4 GS, 23 IP, 29 H, 9 ER, 23 K, 1.26 WHIP.

Absolutely loving the analog controls. In MLB 10 I've never had an ERA over 2.70 in a full season, and that's with HOF difficulty. This year, with All-Star difficulty, I get lit up pretty good when I pitch poorly. A lot more realistic IMO.

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread

I am really pissed at this game. I've played in 299 games so far. I am hitting .357 with 84 career Home Runs and 258 RBI's. As i've stated in this thread i've already been traded twice and was dragged along for four months making only 13 at bats by the Chicago Cubs.

I went on to be demoted because I couldn't meet my goals. I went on to hit .330 with 15 HR and 40 RBI during my 54 games in the minors. The Cubs eventually called me up in September where I made four starts and during those four starts I hit .320 with 4 HR and 9 RBI's. (One HR in every game). You would think these are pretty good numbers, right?

Well I finished the season and went into the offseason and I sim the offseason. Come February 22nd I was placed on Waivers and claimed by the Kansas City Royals. What the hell is this ********? I've been in four different organizations now. I demanded a trade last season once I wasn't getting any playing time and the Cubs responded saying it wouldn't be a smart decision on their part to move me at that time. But instead in February they waive me?

Wow this is crazy. Second game in MLB for cubs I come in 12th onning. Second batter faced I served up a HR. Still won the game in the end though. Third game, came in midway through 5th inning, we were already losing 5-1. At the 6th inning facing Chone Figgins, I knew he was going to steal on a 1-1 count, so I did a pitch-out. He did steal, and he still made it!! It was all with 2 outs. Then Holliday comes up, a I threw a wild pitch to allow Figgins to go to third, and Holliday wacked a single to score Figgins in. Boy this is intense!

Re: MLB 11 "Road To The Show" thread

MY RTTS has been pretty complicated so far..

I'm a CF/OF who was drafted by the Mets. I hit .380 with 7 home runs in 200 AB in AA. Then I was promoted to AAA (still with the Mets) and hit around .300 for a couple weeks before being traded to the Red Sox for John Lackey straight up. I finished off the year in AAA with 312 AB's and hit .315 with 12 home runs.

I really struggled in year two, which included being injured for about 80 days with the PawSox and was traded to Texas (ew) straight up for Mike Napoli.. Finished off 2012 in AAA with a bang and ended up hitting .372 with 22 home runs in 215 AB's.

I haven't had many AB's because my dude keeps getting hurt (I've been boosting my durability non stop, it's at like 92 now). Finally in year 2013 I've been healthy and tearing the cover off of the ball. I was really wanting out of Texas though, just don't have a desire to play in the Majors there. I requested a trade for fun and they traded me to the Tigers for Victor Martinez and a random reliever.

Still haven't been promoted but I'm the 2nd best rated OF in the Tigers system, just so happens that Austin Jackson is maxed out in 2013 and they won't change my position! It's fine though, racking up the points in AAA big time.

Oddly enough, I have encountered a lot of Major League players in 2013. David Ortiz hits 4th behind me and Mark Teahen hits 2nd in front of me. On our starting rotation in AAA, we have Clay Buckholtz and I've had to hit off of some decent ML pitchers in AAA. I haven't investigated it to see if it's glitching, but it seems a little weird.

I've been hit 5 times in 350 AB's this year alone.. Took awhile for the first one though.

Made myself as a shortstop slider a litter more to power than contact. Got drafted by the nationals(hopefully I make the club sooner)so far I only started 4 games but hit hour in 3 of them. Loving the PE

Was extremely happy to get my first start for the Chicago Cubs, against the White Sox no less! So pitched two scoreless innings, easily, and thought this would be a good match to show my pitching skills. Then all hell broke loose.

First was a a triple that scored in a run in third inning. Next inning, two home runs hit off of me, first a 2 run, then a solo one, all with 2 outs. Next inning, another two run homer, with a solo back to back. So my ERA ballooned to 6.39!!!!!!

Here's my stats for that game:

                4.1 IP, 7 H, 7 ER, 2 BB, 2 k.

                Absolutely brutal.

...Drafted by the Phillies as a power hitting right fielder. Spent a season there before being traded to the Skankees. Made the big club out of spring training to start of the 2014 season. (which is odd because i was like 1 for 12 in spring training) First game....3 for 4 with a walk-off 3 run bomb!

Just started my second season. First season I got called up to AAA in late August and now I am on the AAA bench for the Marlins. Second start of the season and I broke my hand out for 60 days. Might have been a good thing since I was 0-8 to start the season and would probably be sent down soon.

So I have caught FIRE again. I went 5-5 (my first 5 hit game). Nest game 2-4 and I got the call up to AAA. It's August. Hoping to impress enough to get on the 40 man roster. Time is against me this year.

First game up go 0-2 in first 2 abs. 3rd ab I have the bases loaded and hit a drive to right. Fall about a foot short of my first Grand Slam. ARGHHHH
