I did see his post... and I'm just commenting on his reply to my original post. I Understand why SCEA had to change the wall..I got that, I would have just rather have had them leave the wall blank than to have them replace it with as little as they did. Knowing with what the ACTUAL wall looks like ,and what it's going to look like in the SHOW this year..... I'm sorry.. It's just NOT RIGHT!

I know I'm complaining about something small here , but let's take another stadium.... Let's say ..Yankee Stadium, and they take out Monument Park... Retired players are in that section as well... I'm mean that's a huge attraction at Yankee stadium.... Was that left out of the game, or changed? I actually have not looked at the "AL East Stadiums" video, so I'm just asking..... But do you get my point?

As a baseball fan be happy with what we have because believe me, as a football fan I hope and pray that someday we get a football game as detailed as The Show is with baseball.
Well I guess you don't follow or watch the Cubs nearly as close as I do. When you watch every game of every year, you start noticing every detail of Wrigley. Yankee Stadium gets love every freaking year for the littlest details, and they always take the time to put it in. Why won't they do the same for Wrigley? How many possible years will it take to finally get the famous scoreboard right? Is it that hard to look at a picture and replicate it? Since when has the scoreboard used yellow digital numbers?

It hasn't but when I'm watching the Cubs I'm watching the freaking game, not admiring every nook and cranny of the ballpark. Is yellow numbers really hurting your baseball gaming experience? If so you have serious issues...

Maybe win a World Series and there will be some attention?

Anyhow, being so nasty about it gets you nowhere. Programming, etc is much more complex and harder than you may think.

FYI, they are aware of your "nitpicks", and I personally handed information on it over to them. I also remember telling you and other Cubs fans during my time there not to hold your breath. That most issues may not be resolved this year. And everyone was content at the time with that response from me, even you. The dev team is only so big, and the handful of artists are assigned to several stadiums at once.

We got the clock to the proper hands, and made the concrete green like asked. The light color is a programming thing so it could not be touched this year. The scoreboard was supposed to have all capitals, so I dunno what happened. It was fixed while there, but they probably had to change it back to what it is now cause it caused issues. Or it could also be a bug.

Just be patient. Fenway had a non working scoreboard for years. I just dealt with it, because I knew someday it would be taken care of. And it appears that they are doing a lot of hard work with scoreboards and all these little things.

What happened was that SCEA's contract with the legendary players ran out. This year the legendary players and their liknesses will not be in the game. To get there likenesses, SCEA must neogotiate with each individual player. They decided that would be too much of a hastle, so they didn't renew a contract.

If you notice, last year, the players that were on the wall were also players in the game; Rogers Horsnby, Red, Enos, Dizzy Dean, and Brock. Bob Gibson's silouette and number was on the wall. In 09 and 08 his picture, name, and number was on the wall and he was a player in the game. I guess his contract with SCEA expired after the 09 game. So last year they just erased him from the game and his silouette and number just looked like crap on the wall. This is also the reason why Stan, Boyer, Gussie Busch, and Jack Buck were not on the wall. SCEA did not have the rights to use their likenesses and the Cardinals do not own them.

This was the first year that they could not use the real retired numbers and players. They wanted to keep the same style on the wall instead of keeping it blank, but they probably did not think to keep the same format as it is in real life though. It actually already looks better than on 2k11. They just have floating numbers on the wall. No likenesses, silouettes, nothing.

I agree, it does look like crap on this game, but I am positive that it will look a hundred times better in next years game if we Cardinal fans suggest that they change it for next year. What they should have done, and should do for next year, is to do what they did in previous years, but stick with the Cards of today. They should add a couple of players like Yadi, Colby, or whoever, and make them look like the "ghosts" that they are on the wall and not use colored pictures.

I believe they did the same thing a couple years ago with U.S. Cellular Field. They had "ghost" players of Bobby Jenks, Konerko, and Thome on the wall.
Interesting post, I wondered why certain people were missing from the wall (like Gibson, Busch, etc) last year. At least now I can understand why it is inaccurate instead of looking at it as an SCEA oversight.

I'm a diehard cardinal fan, and with that... What the HECK happen to the left field wall?? I actually understand why the Hall of famers are not on there, but I don't understand the fix to take it's place.... It doesn't look right, and hope they fix it THIS YEAR. I don't mind the current players , but there needs to be at least two more added to fill the wall up.. one to the left of Pujols and the other to the right of Wainwright. and could they also be "ghost players"like before..... the ones currently on there look like "Fat Heads". The left field wall was such an eye catcher the past 5 years... it just looks disrespected in the game this year.. it could have been done better.. or at least left blank.
Now on the positive side ... I do like the new scoreboards.. very nice.
