Question: Does anyone know how to view condensed games on the PS3? I tried going through the calendar and all I get are archives for the complete broadcast.
As far as I know condensed games are not available on the PS3.

Question - Sorry if this was asked and answered...but is the only way to initially set up this 30 day free trial is through your PS3, or can I set it up through the web?

Also, if your local television station isn't broadcasting your markets baseball team, the Rockies in my case, will the games be blacked out on MLB.tv? Tomorrow they have a DH with the Mets, and neither are being shown on the Rockies station here in Denver, and want to know if I'll be able to catch them on MLB.tv since they aren't shown in their market anyhow.

Yes, I did it through the CPU. And yes, local games are blacked out...which is why I won't be purchasing this. We got rid of cable about 2 months ago, and I was hoping that I could watch the games through MLBtv, but no such luck.

I'm not one who likes to go back and watch games that have already been played.

I understand local games are blacked out, but if local game ARE NOT being broadcast by their local TV stations on that particular game day, will they still be blacked out?

The whole purpose of blacking out games is so you don't steal viewers from local stations...but if the game isn't on local TV in the first place, is it still blacked out?

If so...total fail. Makes no sense then.

Yes, they are still blacked out. You will not be able to access the other teams feed.

I noticed that MLB Network is showing the games tomorrow, and what I have been todl is that if MLB.tv or MLB Network are showing the games, then you can view them online.

This is straight from the MLBtv website.

Regular Season Local Live Blackout: All live games on MLB.TV and available through MLB.com At Bat are subject to local blackouts. Such live games will be blacked out in each applicable Club's home television territory, regardless of whether that Club is playing at home or away. If a game is blacked out in an area, it is not available for live game viewing. If you are an MLB.TV Premium subscriber and not within either Club's home television territory, the applicable game will be available as an archived game as soon as possible after the conclusion of the game. If you are an MLB.TV Premium subscriber within either Club's home television territory or an MLB.TV subscriber in any territory, the applicable game will be available as an archived game approximately 90 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Archived games are not available through MLB.com At Bat.

                In addition, note:

                • These blackout restrictions apply regardless of whether a Club is home or away and regardless of whether or not a game is televised in a Club's home television territory.
                • All live Toronto Blue Jays games are blacked out throughout the entire country of Canada.
                • Additional teams may also be subject to blackout in parts of Canada based on their region.
                • All live games will be blacked out in the U.S. territories of Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands during the MLB regular season.

Note MLB.com live game blackouts are determined in part by IP address. MLB.com At Bat live game blackouts are determined using one or more reference points, such as GPS and software within your mobile device. The Zip Code search is offered for general reference only.

Baseball makes it really hard to be a fan sometimes. I really don't get the blackout restrictions. If I'm paying for your service, I should be able to watch ALL of the games, especially if my local team is playing on the road and the home network isn't carrying the game.

I was going to buy this for the summer months since we shut off our cable June-August, but now knowing that I won't be able to watch Rockies games live is disappointing. I am a big Mets fan, so being able to watch NY games is appealing to me.

Yeah, it was blacked out. Found another stream that MLB wouldn't be happy about...but that's their fault for having ridiculous black out restrictions.

Why they make it hard as hell to watch a game you paid for is beyond me. When are we as consumers going to be able to buy and pay for what we actaully want to watch on tv rather than cable companies telling us what packages we can get and for what price.

I've been able to watch all the Braves streams online without hassle. But when I do try to view them with the At Bat app, it says blackout, so who knows.

My! It's free! So why all the cry baby BS? Just activated mine. Cubs are my local team but I'm about 2hrs from Chicago. Every once in a while they play on a local Chicago station called WCIU and I'm outside of that stations availability so this is definitely coming in handy tonight vs the Rockies. Beats listening to it on the radio without Ron Santo!

                          MLB.tv is free? Since when?

Sure, the 30 day promo is free...but after that, it isn't. The problem is that we pay money to be able to view games, but you can't even see your local team if you don't want to pay hundreds in cable fees.

I did not get it from the receipt or e-mail. I loggeed into Amazon.com and had an on-line chat with on of the amazon on-line agents. I gave him my order information and he gave me the code.
