While I do live in my team's market, I'm also redeeming my code to get a nice viewing of everybody's uniforms. Also, Roy Halladay.

I might get it for the whole season. Still debating…

Man, I thank the man above for this. I am a die-hard Cubs fan, stuck in craptastic Brewers country. U-Verse will not allow me to get Chicago channels...........and WGN only shows like 78 games now.

personally, i'd rather redeem it around august/september to catch the end of the season

It has to be redeemed by the end of May. They aint giving away Pennant Chase [remember that game?] baseball.

noone seems to have mentioned the small print of this offer.

you have to redeem it before the end of april i think i read. theres no saving it till the season end anyway thats for sure.

Make sure you check out the mlb.tv site so you're aware of what teams are blacked out in your area. This is something that depends on the geographical location of your IP.

Luckily I live far enough north that I'm only in the blackout zone for the Twins and Brewers, but if I visit someone in Iowa or Missouri (just for an example) then I can't fire it up at grandma's house and watch the Cardinals, Cubs, Royals, etc.

Yeah, my gut tells me that Milwaukee would be in the Sox/Cubs blackout area. Check at the bottom of the mlb.tv page.

Right. Do we know if it's end of April, then? I'll probably leave it until the end, as I'm going to be super-busy with school stuff all April and I would get more of a kick out of it in May when I'm done with the semester and have more time to kill. Though my HDTV won't be available as often at home as my school apartment...

EDIT: Here's the fine print for the mlb.tv preview.

The only team blacked out in Milwaukee is the Brewers, according to the MLB.TV web site.

Well, yeah. I would have got MLB.TV a long time ago if that wasn't the case. They're all on TV anyway, 90% of the time in HD.

I'm getting it for the other 29 teams - and their jersey info.

For anybody who ordered it through amazon....did you get an email with the mlb.tv code or do you expect it to be in the game when it arrives?

I preordered through Amazon. They are emailing the info with a couple days after the game ships... which should be within two days.

I'm still surprised Amazon shows my game hasn't shipped yet considering it's supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Ok thanks. I just recieved a shipping confirmation and UPS tracking code from them today.

Must be nice. I specifically went with them for the release day delivery. I'm a little worried about how that's possible if it hasn't even shipped yet.

Last year was my first time preordering and it worked great with them. I wouldn't start to worry unless you don't get anything by tomorrow mid morning. It might have shipped already but they haven't sent the email yet.
