Consider yourself lucky because if you go to the mlb.com support forums, they are full of people complaining about the quality of the streaming. MLB is readily admitting to having big problems with the streaming capability, but it is taking forever to fix the situation.

I wish I would have pre-ordered the game now. Dish network lost SNY/TV for the Mets, for now.Comment

That said, the PC app has been running nearly flawless for me through the first couple days - much better than in the past. The PS3 version...not so much.Comment

Re: Redeeming MLB TV code
Yea, watching on my PS3 has been choppy at times. The only way I could get a steady clear picture was to use the screen that shrinks the game playing and has the line of scores at the bottom of the screen.
I'm sure I'll try and use it more once the free week of Extra Innings runs out. That's why they give you 30 days and not 3.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: Redeeming MLB TV code
yeah i was gonna do that but i know how these schemes work when you put your credit card info and they may charge you automatically and make you jump thru hoops to cancel it. make sure you check your bank statements each month
oh well i guess ill just settle for watching finished games.Comment

Re: Redeeming MLB TV code
glad i didnt fall for the ole bannana in the tailpipe. FScin advertises for mlb.tv , you can watch every reds game live in HD.... its not true, if you live within 150 miles of cincinnati (or whatever ball club your trying to watch) you cant watch a single game live. it bs IMO. you can watch it 2.5 hours later from the archive. lolComment

Re: Redeeming MLB TV code
once they do determine your location, if your trying to watch your favorite team, and you live within their viewing market (about 150 miles) , you will only be able to watch it archived. your blacked out and cannot watch it live. every single game is blacked outComment

Re: Redeeming MLB TV code
After not even being able to load the app the last couple days, finally got it past the opening loading screen. Watching the Angels/Rays game and it still looks like pixelated garbage.
I'm still being optimistic and trying to say it's because of the PSN issues that have been going down. Not looking good to extend my 30 days though.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: Redeeming MLB TV code
Redemmed my code and have everything set up. It's not the greatest picture quality in the world, but it's not bad, either. Like someone else said, it does look great on the PC.
Question: Does anyone know how to view condensed games on the PS3? I tried going through the calendar and all I get are archives for the complete broadcast.Currently Playing:
