A nice little reference for Cub fans.......

After you win a home game in franchise mode, sometimes either Matt or Soup will say " Hey Chicago, what do you say, the Cubs are goinna win today"

Cub fans will know what I am talking about.

These are from the demo, but I would assume they carry over to the full game:

1. Clouds slowly move across the sky, a very small but nice detail. (May have been in last year but never noticed)

2. On pop ups that go near the on-deck circle, the on-deck batter will step out of the fielders way

Love being able to press down on the D-pad and the batter calls for a timeout, just the small things make me oh so happy!

Haha, yeah, that's what I was originally talking about. I thought this thread was named for the Dave Campbell quote in the game. But as someone else so kindly pointed out already, it's apparently the other way around.

I like how on a fly ball the outfield will act like he will catch it when their is a runner on base. I crushed one and the outfielder threw his glove up like he could make the play. That was sweet!

McCannFann, you have to understand it was a big deal to a lot of us here at OS the first year they said it. We posted tons of "little things" and it was great to see they gave OS a shout out. Most people here know that the "its the little things" thread started here.

I'm surebobeureally27 was just shocked someone here didn't know that. But hey, we've all been new and didn't know things about the place at first. Welcome to the boards.

I know I for one can't wait till tomorrow so I can start to hunt some little things myself.

I don't have the game yet but I noticed from one of the posted videos that the A's catcher (Suzuki) smooths out the dirt in front of him when he is behind the plate... He does that all the time in real life.

I could've sworn I posted that as a suggestion for little things last year!

After a line drive out the camera shows the whole field and russell Martin is holding up the number of outs and showing it to his team mates. Do think that was there before.
