The Yankees have that little whistle ditty after a strikeout. I had to add this myself last year

Re: MLB 11 The Show: "The Little Things" Thread
McCannFann, you have to understand it was a big deal to a lot of us here at OS the first year they said it. We posted tons of "little things" and it was great to see they gave OS a shout out. Most people here know that the "its the little things" thread started here.
I'm surebobeureally27 was just shocked someone here didn't know that. But hey, we've all been new and didn't know things about the place at first. Welcome to the boards.
I know I for one can't wait till tomorrow so I can start to hunt some little things myself.

Yeah, I was just pointing it out. It's like SCEA was being given credit for something that isn't theirs.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show: "The Little Things" Thread
Actually fresh chalk would be inaccurate, if that's true. They don't add fresh chalk, in fact by the end of a game the chalk is typically completely gone around the batter's box and near first/third base.Comment

End of inning/homerun replays are very well done too... the jumbotrons actually show the batter at the time. It used to show the next batter due up.
I really like the Topps Player of the Game freeze frame they do at the end of the game too.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I noticed it in the demo after the grounds crew came out. Having new chalk is odd after dragging the field.Comment

Playing batting practice last night I saw something I have never seen before. I swung so early at a curveball that I was offbalance and the batter threw the bat. Then he was looking like what just happened at himself lol.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show: "The Little Things" Thread
Played at midnight last night as the Phils. I had Halladay pitching. He threw a cutter that was a strike, but the ump called it a ball. One of the announcers said something to the extent of 'you aren't gonna get that call if you are on the cover for the wrong game.' so coolComment

Don't know if this was in previous versions...
Just played a game as the Braves vs DBacks, Freddie Freeman (rookie 1B for Braves) came up to bat for the first time and they showed his AAA numbers from last season.Comment
