Whats the bug?

Pitcher/Batter analysis screens give inconsistent numbers. Here is an example from one of the CPU vs CPU games I played. The left column is from the batter analysis, the right the pitcher. Note numbers are slightly off.

out 21 26
taken 65 67
fouled 35 35
missed 13 16
strikeout 5 5

I see this in every game that I have played. Yet to figure out the patterns (not that I've tried to...) but always happens.

When starting a Franchise using an initial Fantasy Draft and one team control, AI teams will wind up with excessive amounts of cash after the draft (some in excess of $200 million) while the human team will be at the bottom with $20 million or so. Needless to say, this is quite unrealistic and gives AI teams a potentially huge advantage.

I also reported this bug in last year's thread.

A pitch count value already exists in the batting/pitching analysis screens before the first pitch is thrown. Through several starts and restarts I noticed that each team's batter analysis starts the game out with 2 nonexistent pitches - they have no dot on right side graph. Although, there is a black dot positioned right in the middle of the chart which corresponds to nothing and may be part of this bug.

Also, the Away team's pitcher appears to get 1 nonexistent pitch added to his count in the pitching analysis.

These may be happening later in the game as well, but I can't confirm that at this time.

Explained above. Can be recreated at the start of every game.

Probably every game - I've seen it each time I started up a game, using both restarts and going back to the main menu.

Whats the bug? Computer opponent batting; attempts a bunt. My pitch is wild and is heading right for his head as he is bent over and facing me. The replay showed the pitch morph right through the poor guys forhead.

He never pulled back the bat and was called for a strike.

Also, the baserunners should not always slide back into the base when a pitcher throws over. And the defender should not always apply a tag. (These little things are now way more apparent because the game is so polished. I know this isn't a bug, but there needs to be a feedback thread about things like this).

When throwing a ball that is called a strike the crowd boos as if it was a ball.

When playing in Boston, the Green Monster scoreboard cannot support double digit totals. Thus far I've seen it only in the hits column, but I would assume the same thing occurs in the runs column as well. When hits >= 10 the scoreboard shows that teams number of hits as "1".

Random bug -

Exhibition play at Fenway Park
It was a 0-1 count. Batters hits a deep ball to center. Bounces off wall into center fielders glove. Audio commentary says off the wall. Ump called it a foul ball. Next thing know, batter is now down 0-2 in the count.

I've only seen it once.

No video.

I have turned off everything that states "ticker" or "MLB.com", but still am inundated with scores from SPRING TRAINING.

Russell, this is the best video game ever, but did it occur to anyone that there are some who DO NOT want to see ANY scores. Yet last year there was no OPTION to turn them off, and now I have them turned off and it still shows them.

PLEASE!?!

Game locked up during cut scene of batter getting injured.

As far as I remember, I was on base. Someone was out trying to tag up (don't remember which base). During the cut scene I hit the X button to skip the scene.

Result:
Game locked up. Not reproducible.

Additional info:
Auto save was set to off.

In practice mode every single pitcher’s velocity is wrong from what it should be. I change the ratings to see if that fixes the issue but the problem remains.<O

Haven't seen these appear in any game thus far.

Result:
In '10 these would be in the top bar ticker. For example, Double Heyward (10) or 415 Foot Home Run Votto (33) or Stolen Base Molina (44)

According to those who saw early builds of the game, this feature was still working

Yankee Stadium outfield wall scoreboards do not show position of the batter (e.g. 2b). Instead, it shows a number that doesn't seem to correlate with anything.

Starting pitchers are throwing in excess of 140 pitches even when their energy was at zero after 100 pitches.

I've seen this primarily with 1-3 starters.

I noticed it in the 9th inning, I brought in my closer and after I finished throwing the warm up tosses and the game started/resumed I noticed the score was missing and had disappeared. After every pitch the MPH pitch speed would pop up by itself (which looked weird) and then disappear.

I don't know, I have only seen it once.

More info on this one, it's not for ANY reliever. Happens if you pinch for the previous pitcher, had it happen twice in my recent game (both times I brought in a pinch hitter).
