WHY? For almost 20 years, I have had to do things like tape paper over the bottom of my TV to NOT see scores (I watch almost everything tape-delayed). The only way to stop scores as of now is to turn off the Internet connection. Only problem is, to use the 6 classic stadiums, you MUST be connected to the Internet.

I use those stadiums. This is the only game I have that REQUIRES me to be hooked up to the Internet to use part, and there is no way to turn the scores off.

I have turned off everything that states "ticker" or "MLB.com", but still am inundated with scores from SPRING TRAINING.

Russell, this is the best video game ever, but did it occur to anyone that there are some who DO NOT want to see ANY scores. Yet last year there was no OPTION to turn them off, and now I have them turned off and it still shows them.

WHY? Please, how do I turn them off, but still have access to the 6 classic stadiums.

Happened back to back games, once on Training Screen and the 2nd time mid foul ball. I had a couple of games earlier turned auto save off...I may try turning back on to see if that had an effect

Game freezes during loading screen entering a game. Makes it even more annoying since I turned off Auto-Save since it was taking to long to save after every game. Now I have to go back about half a season and start over (my fault since I didn't save manually, I know.)

Challenge of the Week

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
Sabathia calls time as Mauer is entering the box/taking a warm up swing, then returns to the mound and stands motionless for minutes on end until you finally have to exit the challenge and take a strike for doing so. I'm not sure what is causing it, but I try to skip any animations of Mauer entering the batter's box to prevent this from happening.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Fairly often. In seven tries, it happened three times.

the scoreboard at shea stadium doesnt show the batters picture

Whats the bug? Stuttering sound at load up screen. Unlike some of the other posters that reported this, I don't even see the Home plate logo. I boot up stuttering sound happens at a black screen and that's all i get. The game will eventually load like 5 min later. I uninstalled game data and played without patching and no problems.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Every single time I played with the patched game. If I don't install the patch I have no problems.

Do you have video or pictures? I picture of a black square for five minutes, with the stuttering noise at the beginning, don't really need pictures for that.

Guess I'm just gonna have to play offline, without the patch for the near future.

My game has frozen Twice when I've tried to manage rosters for my franchise. You think having the 3d effect turned on might cause this? Yes my tv is 3d

Only with the new SCEA Roster, the default roster is fine

How in the heck did this get overlooked SCEA? Bobby & Lou have been gone for months now. Especially happening from an update roster and not the default. That's crazy!

The Tomahawk stays lit up right beside the B after a homerun. It should turn off, although it would be nice if it would light up during rallies.

Hit a homerun with a Braves player, yes

Everytime a HR is hit at home by a Braves player

Took a 0-2 count (as a batter) to 3-2 on Hall of Fame difficulty and didn't get the trophy.

What is the bug?
After finishing an online game, you lose use of controller #1 to look at box score or exit game. You have to hit the Playstation button and change to controller #2. Then you can exit. Also must switch back to controller #1 to play again.

My friend is playing the Yankees on Legendary to try to get that trophy and the full count trophy popped for him so it is working. Try earning it again before you consider it a full bug and make sure you keep track of the situation etc.

Were both batting & pitching on All-Star or higher? That's the requirement, though I haven't tried getting it myself.

I throw down to first with my catcher after a pitch to try and pick off the runner at first who was off the base.I catch him off base but instead of the first baseman tagging him out he just flips it to the pitcher and the baserunner just goes to second. This isnt a balk or a walk to the batter. just a throw down to first to try and pick off the runner. Also in the runner window it will show my first baseman still trying to hold the runner after the incident and the runner is on 2nd base. real weird

Last of the 8th, 2 outs, bases loaded with 3 and 2 count. Yanks (me) leading Detroit, 4-1. I sent all the runners on a 3 and 2 count but the batter walked, forcing in a run (so far so good). Next batter came up and the runners tried a triple steal on the first pitch. Runner at third was forced at the plate.

Probably every time this situation occurs.
