I had a dollar in my PSN wallet and decided to purchase the advance stats. They definitely add a little more "fun" to my RTTS and should prove greatly beneficial when I start running a franchise.

Re: Advanced Stats
Now we know stats is a weak spot for the Show. It would be wonderful if we can generate the stats from the realistic gameplay the Show makes it possible, the numbers come alive with the Show's gameplay. Works both ways for me.
Playing text-based sims often feels just like rolling dice and not really satisfying. The Show adds a much deeper dimension to enjoying stats.Comment

Re: Advanced Stats
Man, i know.
We all asked for more stats last year in the wishlist threads, with this games modes and features all getting love in the past 3 years, its time for the lifeblood of baseball, stats, [along with announcing] to get a MAJOR, MAJOR facelift.
Please.
Charging for them aside, I still think any extra stats ar good stats.
Now they just need to be driven to the in-game part of things.
I would love during franchise to see, say in June with Brett Gardner on a hot streak, to have Karros start talking [complete with on screen overlay brought to you by baseball Prospectus] about Brett's stats during a recent homestand, or numbers since his injury.Comment

Re: Advanced Stats
I managed to purchase them and there are 24 listed. They are:
RC - Runs Created
ISO Pwr
Sec Avg
AB/HR
BB/PA
BB/K
BOP - No idea what this is
Bat Runs - Not sure what this is either, think it might be WAR but clarification certainly required
T Avg
POP
SLOB
TPQ
HEQ-Q
Pwr Spd
Pwr Fact
Pwr Avg
BSR
RF
Alot of these I have no clue about, I'll happily edit to signify what each means if we can work them out.

Also, you can go to the statistics menu option, look at the bottom of the screen, and SCEA has a definition of each stat listed.Comment

Re: Advanced Stats
Are these stats tracked year to year and cumulatively on the players card in franchise?
Like
An example for simplicity sake:
2011 89
2012 80
tot 169
If so I will be picking this up.Comment

Re: Advanced Stats
There already is an advanced stats thread that defines the stat definitions.

Re: Advanced Stats
If this carries over year to year, I'm all in. If it tracks just 2011, perhaps...if it only shows last year, no chance.
Anyone confirm?@MikeLowe47 | YouTube | Discord

So... they don't carry over, year to year? I'm a little confused.Comment

Re: Advanced Stats
I'm sorry -- I thought other people were saying that the Advanced Stats don't show up in RTTS? Or was that just that they don't show up in the RTTS locker room, and you have to look at your baseball card or whatever?

Re: Advanced Stats
I purchased these and I'm in spring training and they are not showing up on the player card? I thought these would work for Franchise? You play fast! You play strong! You go out there and dominate the man you're playing against, and you make his *ss quit! That's our trademark! That's our M.O. as a team! That's what people know us as! - Nick SabanComment
