Look at these CPU trades in the offseason
Astros- C. Barmes for H. Ramirez
Boston- D. Ortiz for M. Cabrera
I don't know which is worse.Comment

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition
Here's a trade the Indians just offered my Phillies - it's August, so it would have to clear waiver wires...
Philly gets: Grady Sizemore
Cleveland gets:
1 A Potential starting pitcher prospect who's tearing up AA ball
2 B Potential position players - a 3B at AAA who's only hitting .251 (was injured for about a month) and a C at AA who has played really well this season (.310, 5 HR, 58 RBI)
I'm not likely going to accept this.. however, it is kind of interesting. It would give me a replacement for Ibanez for next year (his contract is up - and he'll be 39 next season).. Ibanez has had a good year (.278 19 HR, 66 RBI), but how likely is it that he'll continue that. The downside is that Ibanez is only making $2.5 - Sizemore is at $10.4 mil and his contract is up after this year, so there's no guarantee I'd keep him anyway (which is a big reason why I'm not likely to do this).
The other negative is that I'm essentially giving up the 3 best prospects I have in the minors for Sizemore, who is struggling this season (.241, 11 HR, 34 RBI).. However, I remember in MLB '09 he was an absolute beast, putting up Hall of Fame numbers. Anyway - just curious as to what people out there would think about this possible trade!Currently Playing: FIFA 22 Career Mode - Manchester United ManagerComment

You've got Mayberry in there as well as BenFran, so just let one of them grow into the LF role or try to get Pence again. You've got plenty more offense either way (trade or not), and even though the offense is a bit cold right now, you've also got the pitching as he said. It's not worth trading the prospects for, especially because Sizemore's injury-prone (not sure if that affects Grady in the game or not) and is set to be a free agent. You've got to spend those bucks on JRoll and Cole.
Good luck.Last edited by philliesfan136; 09-13-2011, 03:11 PM.Comment

Is trading Andre Ethier to CHC for Tyler Colvin fair? The interest bar is full but i haven't pulled the trigger. Ethier has had a subpar year thus far, even during the games simmed.Lakers | Michigan | DodgersComment

If you're the Dodgers, I'd still ask for more from Chicago even though Ethier's struggling.Comment

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition
Alright guys, I know it is a minor deal but I may as well get opinions on it because a few minor prospects did move:
To Cards (me):
Luis Atilano (25 year old AAA SP with low B pot)
Some 26 years old AAA C pot flamethrower SP (Can't remember name)
Blue Jays get:
Jeff Keppinger (from me)
Merkin Valdez (from me).... flamethrowing AAA 27 RP
Nationals get:
Corey Patterson (From TOR)
Chad Cordero (27 year old C potential RP)
Washingtonis desperate for a CF (Bernadinha is out for the year) and the Blue Jays infield has been shaky as best. To make it work I moved Hill to 3B for them and dropped Keppinger in at 2nd. I am coming up against few lefty starters which makes Keppinger a little useless to me (he wasn't hit them well with me anyways), the Blue Jays have to deal with many and Encarnacion has been rather crappy.
With any luck Atilano challenges for the 5th rotation spot in a year or two.
Let me know.Comment

Hey scruffy. Personally I'm a fan of that trade for u. Pitched with Atilano alot in my nats fran earlier this year an really liked his stuff. Ur not giving up much either an all teams look like there getting alittle something. It's the small trades that can make or break ya.Comment

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition
Started out as the Cleveland Indians, updated rosters with all prospects etc and decided I would trade away Sizemore. Would this be a fair trade? As I need a lefty in the starting rotation...
Oakland receive:
Grady Sizemore.
Cleveland receive:
Brett Anderson.
Thoughts? If not who can I send over to make it more fair. As both players were on the 'DL' as such and didn't feature in the teams this season.
Would leave my top three in the rotation as;
Ubaldo Jimenez,
Justin Masterson,
Brett Anderson.Football: Manchester United
MLB: Cleveland Indians
NBA: Miami Heat
NFL: Cleveland BrownsComment
