First game I played I hit 3 home runs. Those 3 were Brian McCann, Jason Heyward and Dan Uggla. I won the game 4-2. 2 of them were wall scrappers but i'll take them lol.

Big Papi. I was so psyched. It was my 1st game of MLB 11 and I'm still getting used to the analog hitting. I wasn't very good at hitting in the demo, so when I got the full game, I went into practice mode and did the 1st two hitting drills (timing and contact). I started getting a feel for it. Anyway, I start up an exhibition game at Fenway - Sox/Yanks. I chose AJ Burnett as the pitcher because I don't feel good enough about hitting yet to face CC (and likely get compeltely shut down all game).

So, I'm not doing anything offensively and then Big Papi comes up. I swing and miss at the 1st high fast ball. He throws me another one and I crushed it to centerfield! It took me by surprise because I didn't choose power swing or anything. It was nice to see that just the normal analog swing can get you homeruns.

I hit one more homerun in that same game with JD Drew around the 7th inning.

Burnett went on to be player of the game as he pitched 8 innings with 9 strikeouts. I still have practice hitting, clearly. But those 2 HR's were pretty sweet. I had a couple of doubles, too, but couldn't get much else going.

From the exhibition I played after the midnight release...I think it was Alex Rios.

First in the fantasy franchise mode that my friend and I set up, Marlon Byrd.

Well not counting home run derby with the move which was the first thing I tried out - I hit one with Gaby Sanchez in a game.

Chipper Jones off of Ubaldo Jimenez. Threw a change up low and in, crushed over the right field wall.

Jose Tabata to right field against a pitcher on the Royals(whose name I forget). It was a normal swing. I was rather surprised he hit it out. The only one I have hit so far. Though I have only had a chance to play two game.
