      Re: A PERFECT GAME!!!!

I always play on All_Star and tweak my sliders to make it as realistic as possible. I have thrown a couple one hitters in the past 3 years and I have taken a no hitter into the 9th once.

Sorry about my previous post - looking back at it now, I didn't mean for it to be that much of a jerk post. Take at least a picture next time of the final boxscore and player oft he game stuff so that you produce proof.

And honestly.....bump the difficulty up, because you should NEVER be able to throw back to back games with the same guy like that....ever!!

why does he have to bump up the difficulty up??? What if he pitches better with a certain player? I sure do. I pitch better with Jon Lester more than anyone else in the game and I tend to pitch my best games with him. Why? because i have confidence in my abilities to use him. But if i moved from pro to all star i might stand a chance or most likely i'd get crushed everytime. the answer isnt always upping the difficulty

When you throw back to back no hitters and perfect games - the answer is definitely to bump up the difficulty.

I suppose if you hit 128 HR in a season on a low difficulty - it's because you are an awesome hitter and you shouldn't bump up the difficulty? Maybe I'll play on rookie and bat .668 for the season and then I'll post on the forum about how good of a hitter I am.

Don't mean to sound like a jerk, come on man - up the difficulty even just a little. The guy has made 2 starts on the season and has 18ip, 0h, 0er, a no hitter and a perfect game. And if you don't want to hear people say you need to up the difficulty - don't brag about these amazing feats that you achieve on a low difficulty. I give you props for throwing a perfect game and all - but do you want to go 29-0 with a 0.43 ERA and 9 perfcect games on the season with Matt Garza? If you do, more power to you

Playing All Star default sliders i took a no hitter into the 9th inning with Romero and the Jays in game one of the opening series with the Twins. Finished with a 2 hitter and 14 K's. Im completely fine with that lol. I think its more fun to try for the Ks then force myself to worry about the nono.

Well, it has happened in real life....

From Wikipedia: Johnny Vander Meer is the only pitcher in major league history to pitch no-hitters in two consecutive starts. On June 11, 1938, he no-hit the Boston Braves at Crosley Field. Four nights later, in the first night game played at Ebbets Field, he no-hit the Brooklyn Dodgers. After his double no-hit achievement, Reds' management wanted Vander Meer to change his uniform number to "00." He politely declined.

You must have missed the part where he said his record is 2-5 so I would say he shouldn't bump up the difficulty. Or should he only bump the difficulty up when he pitches with Garza?

Even though he's 2-5 he could still turn up the pitching difficulty only and leave hitting where it is ...

I'll post Garza' next 2 outings. If we do another no hitter i'll post a picture of box score.
Brian Kelly will have ND back this year.

Arizona State will bounce back this year too.

The Cubs will end the streak next year

I had a perfect game with Gio Gonzalez going on '10 but it was broken up in the top of the 7th with 1 out by Chone Figgins who BUNTED. Nice baseball etiquette. Needless to say, he got a ball in the helmet the next time he came up.
