I do this from time to time too. I love that we have the options!

I'm still waiting on my copy of 11 but last year in my 10 franchise I used broadcast for major league games and real time for the odd minor league game when I felt like it. It was a nice change of pace.

        I use RTP w/ Replay.

The cut scenes got old 3 years ago. I can't stand them anymore.

RTP was heavily advertised and was a big feature (and important for sports games). Hopefully they keep adding stat overlays etc. to it.

Maybe it's just me, but RTP and RTP w/Replay seem mostly unchanged since last year. I am torn because I love all the litte things (players high-fiving after HR's, hitters chatting with base coaches after hits, graphic overlays, etc.) and many of those things are excluded from RTP.

I hope they focus heavily on making RTP the default and main presentation mode for '12. I hope they find a way to add all the little extras that make the game great without relying on cutscenes. RTP is the future (or the present, actually) of sports games. It's time to do away with all the worn out cutscenes that we have all seen a zillion times and have those things happen in real time.

I mostly use RTP w/Replay and I love it, especially the full HR trots. However, I miss the high-fives and celebrations after HR's and big hits, plus all the other little things that we can only get with Broadcast. So every now and again, I switch to Broadcast for a series or two.

This is my first year w/ the show. Is RTP w/ replay a little quicker than broadcast or not? Sometimes when I want to bang out a game I get sick of hitting the x button but w/ fast play i don't get to warm up my starting pitchers. I also like having the replays most of the time.

I use realtime sometimes because I just don't want the automatic replays ( I prefer to check them manually) for better gameflow. I don't understand why they don't have the option to turn off replays in Broadcast mode.

Clunky is right. It seems like every guy sleepwalks around the bases after a homer.
They need to speed their trots up, especially on homers that have enthusiasm or fire the crowd up.

                  Agreed.

I agree. Although we might be so used to the cut-scenes something would seem off if they were gone.

There's no reason however, that the Show can't use RTP and pop up some kind of a stat bubble/window after almost every play. EVERY play--instead of cut scenes, could feature a quick window showing what the guy is hitting that day/series/season/, or vs. the pitcher season/career/in that ballpark, or stolen base stats season/career/ vs. ***cher or pitcher, etc. etc. etc.

As you can tell, I like stats.
If they could be with stats where they are with graphics...
