This is a dumb question I know. I just bought a ps3 and Ths Show. How do I download this patch people are talking about? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are talking about the patch with the franchise fixes, that hasn't released yet. To download a patch you need to be connected online (on your PS3) and you will automatically be prompted to download a patch.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

No, it's always been that way. You can download system firmware updates on your pc and install via usb stick, but for specific game patches, those are ALWAYS done via the PS3 internet.
It doesn't matter if PSN is down, as long as you have an internet connection. In fact, the only way to play a game that requires a patch you do not want is to isolate your ps3 from the internet.Comment
