No; no way. I enjoy being in a "semi-"hitters position way to much and my hitting view MUST be from behind the plate looking out towards the pitcher.

I feel like I am not hitting if I do it from the pitchers view (which all broadcast camera's are).

Initially I enjoyed using the broadcast view with zone hitting, that is until I realized that you can see where the ***cher is setting up and what pitch he's calling for, which just ruined it for me. Gonna stick with ***cher 7 view for hitting and leave the broadcast view for pitching I believe.

You might -- might -- be able to see the grip the pitcher is using with the broadcast camera view, but the ***cher will always set up in the same spot in the middle of the plate when you are at bat.

Not to mention that I'm almost positive that the ***cher's signs don't actually correspond to the actual pitch. I've always enjoyed hitting from broadcast view, the camera editor is a very nice addition this year. It's really nice to be able to switch views when facing a left-handed pitcher.

I haven't given it a try. I like where the default camera is and for pitching I use the outfield camera.

Hit like this the last few years. I think it is great! I started with the St. Louis broadcast cam and lowered it a little. Now it is straight on and it really helps with drawing walks.

The ***chers signs to not mean that is what the pitcher is going to throw. And yes, he always sets up in the middle.

I tried it out once. Can't do it.
As much as I like having the game look like a broadcast, I gotta be behind the dish to hit well.

                    Re: broadcast view batting

Hey guys. First time poster here so take it easy on the rookie hazing. I hope I do this right. Is it just me or has the camera view for fielders changed for MLB 11? The outfielders/infielders were closer to the play in 10. This year it players seem a lot further away from the play when the ball is hit. I know there are tons of camera options in MLB 11. Is there a way to get the closer views like last years edition had? Thanks. I do enjoy reading the forums and have found several helpful tips.
