PLEASE HELP: recognizing a changeup
Hey guys. Any help here would be appreciated. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips when it comes to recognizing a changeup. Every other pitch I can see pretty much right away but when it comes to the changeup I am always way out in front swinging at it like it is a fastball. Any tips would be awesome! Thanks in advance.BOSTON BRUINS

Re: PLEASE HELP: recognizing a changeup
Lol tell me about it man. I play with pitch confidence on so I can see what the computer pitchers are feeling good about. You should see my screen, every pitch is low in confidence except the bar for the changeup, which is FULL. I know the pitcher is going to throw it, but it always looks like a fastball to me. There has to be someone out there with some kind of secret or a tip.BOSTON BRUINS

I eat change-ups for breakfast. read the pitch out of the pitchers hand, remember a fastball count and let'em hang one and turn on that sucka... no "hitter's eye " lolComment

With 2 strikes I adjust my timing so that a fastball I will be late on and the changeup I will be early on. Not so early or late that I will miss it but can drive it down either line. I don't even try to "recognize" it. I just adjust my timing in my head pre pitch.Comment
