I believe this qualifies as a small bug...In my bosox franchise, I traded for a few guys, one being Orlando Hudson from the Padres where he used the new rawlings helmet. The sox use the classic rawlings helmet, yet when I go to edit his accessories, it won't let me change this. Small, but annoying for a big franchise guy!Any idea how to fix it?

What's the bug? The game freezes when I click on the words "Free Agents" in the main menu to see who I can possibly sign off the Free Agent list.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) Season.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Yes I can recreate it, it happens every single time I click to view the Free Agents, causing me to reboot my game.

Whats the bug?
Sound bug during a game, the announcers and PA system and music does not work once the game has loaded up. RTTS pre-game PA system during BP does not work. In place of the announcing is a crunching, clipping sound.

In September, all my players all of a sudden got a full green energy bar. I posted about this and another member said this is a bug from a few years back. I was in the playoff hunt (made the playoffs) and all my players, even the prior day's pitcher, and the entire opposing team, had full green energy. The other member said something about it being tied to expanded rosters.

Also, this happened again for game 1 of the playoffs. I was in a 1 game in season playoff, and only had 1 day of rest. My whole team is now full green energy. Not sure if this is a bug or just an un-realistic feature in the game.

On another note, the patch did reduce the amount of passed balls; but too much I think. There is now about 1 every 3 games.

That was me. As I said, happens when your other 15 on the 40-man roster come up after the minor clubs' seasons are over. Has been since '09.

Whats the bug? PLayers without pitcures on their player card that use the default ones, sometimes are wrong.. For example a left handed pticher will have a picture where hes throwing right handed

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Threw a pitch to Alex Gordon he crushed it off the right field wall, then the ball teleported back to the pitchers mound that then went torwards homeplate and made the foul ball sound and was ruled foul.

It happened to me again in my Houston Astros franchise. It has now happened in my Pirates and Astros franchises and it did not happen in my Braves franchise nor did it happen in my test franchise with the Yankees. What gives?

Incorrect subtraction of Training Points for fielding errors that didn't happen in RTTS.

When playing 1B on RttS mode, if a throw pulls you off the bag and it results in the runner being safe, regardless of hit or error, you get -5 for "Not covering the base" in the summary. Also, when you field the ball to start a 3-5/6-3/1 DP, if the Pitcher fails to cover and you don't get back to the bag (which you most likely won't unless the ball was right up the line), you get knocked with a "Not Covering 1st" failure in the summary, even if you did get an out on the play. Occasionally, these knocks affect your fielding pct, even if an error is not charged, or not charged to you.

Also, about 50% of the time, if you field the ball and throw to 1st, if the Pitcher doesn't cover in time, you get hit with the "Not covering" penality.


How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every throw that pulls you off the bag that you can't get back on, and every DP you start or ball you field that the pitcher doesn't make it over to cover.

i was just playing when he went to pitch.. the ball didnt go anywhere and everyone just waited for the ball to be thrown.. couldnt pass or move or anything

I've seen this happen with both Aaron Hicks and Mike Moustakas (using OSFM Rosters). They are both A potential players on those rosters. Hicks was about 74 Overall when he was released and Moustakas was about 78 Overall when released. Moustakas was 25, Hicks was 23. They had both just reached the last year of their contracts. One of the keys seemed to be that neither had been added to the 40-man roster when released even though Moustakas at the time was by far the best 3B the Royals had on their roster. Neither had any MLB playing time either.

Hicks was on my team at the time (RTTS player) and I went back a few months to a previous saved game and simmed about 10 times to see if it got released every time. Only once was he not released and that was because there was a long-term injury to a player (60-day DL) which opened a spot on the 40-man and Hicks was added. In every other sim, Hicks was always released the day where:

"All players must have contracts tendered by December 2nd or they will become free agents. This includes all players eligible for salary arbitration or contract renewal."

"Did Not Tender a Contract to CF Aaron Hicks, Making Him a Free Agent."

I can only assume that this is happening quite a lot to other young players that I haven't noticed. It's not a money issue because they haven't played in the majors yet.

As a side note, the 40-man roster seems really hard to get into. Hard to believe a team's best player at a certain position is not even on the 40-man, much less on the MLB roster.

What year was it and what were their contracts? I will mention that after their rookie deal, they enter a limited sort of FA. The team that drafted them has exclusive ability to sign them to a second deal, unless they don't offer a bid. If they don't any team can sign them.

RTTS Player keeps getting benched for stealing without a greenlight from Manager when the Manager calls a hit and run.

From very early on in my RTTS career I had my greenlight to steal revoked. Yet during a game if my player is on base and the manager calls for a hit and run and I steal, after the game I have a message waiting saying I've been "Benched Indefinitely." The only way I can get around this is to just ignore the hit and run call. By ignoring it I receive no message of missing the sign or retribution.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

It has happened twice to my RTTS character. Once at the end of my first year in AA. I played out the remaining week or so of the season on the bench and I was signed as a AAA starter in the off-season. In September of that next season with AAA I was called up to the majors and in my first game I was given the hit and run sign. I stole and was benched indefinitely. The only other time I was on base and given the sign and I ignored it nothing happened, so that's what I'll be doing from now on until I get my green light back.
