I did this last night...just to see if there is a difference. I have a fatty system with a 500gb 5400rpm hitachi in it. It took less time than it took me to go into my closest and change from my work clothes to some shorts (140gb filled up)...and now my MLB.tv doesn't get ugly and stutter randomly. Nice.

what is considered stutter for this game? I just bought by PS3 last month when THE SHOW came out. The only thing I notice that comes close to what you might consider "STUTTER", is at the beginning of the game loading, the first time anything appears on the screen for the game (baseball rolls towards home plate), the sound of the game sounds like someone turns the volume up, then down, then up, then down, really fast. Is this stutter? I have no other issues with gameplay or sound otherwise.

i get stutter sometimes during a pitch..almost like a lag online but not as bad...does this fix it??

What happens if you do this, and the "stutter" during pitches still persists? Just asking because I did it and it still "stutters."

Try redoing it again, or also doing option 3 as well to restore file system.

Yeah, and I remade my playlist and put it back in the game and it still doesn't work.
