    What happened to dynamic weather?

I was really excited to read reviews about the dynamic weather that was going to be added this year. I have noticed a few changes with cloud formations and some rain but there's no rainouts or delays? Am I missing something? And why does it rain at Safeco Field and the roof doesn't close? Rainouts and rain delays would add realism to the game because you would have to use strategy determining how to play guys when you're playing doubleheaders. MVP Baseball had all this in 2004. It really puzzles me why 7 years later The Show still hasn't introduced this into the game. Overall it's a great game. I think it's time they added real weather that actually affects the game.

i wanna kiss you for mentioning this...this has been on my mind for awhile now...also i would like to see guys dive into the stands and get hurt or something...or have a pitcher have to skip a start due to a blister...little stuff like that would be cool but it wouldnt make or break the game

Rain delays are still not mentioned in The Show, I probably read some where that SCEA are planning to add it next year, or that they soon will. As for dynamic weather, I haven't seen any yet after about 13 games in the day time, mostly see the sky changing color after the 8th inning.
Why did I move here? I guess it was the weather.

We are aware of the roof at Safeco being broken. I've got my cousin Leo on it but at the moment his pickup truck is broken down. As soon as he gets his truck running he will fix it.

Hey, at least it rains this year. That's an improvement.

I've never understood the appeal of rainouts. Is it realistic? Yes. But I don't want to play three innings of a game only to have it "rained out" and then have to start over.

This baffles as well, SCEA got so many things right with the show, players faces, stadiums, etc but they can't seem to get the little things right like commentary, rain outs, etc.

Have yet to see any rain in the whole month of April. It was cloudy for maybe 2 or 3 day games. The rest were sunny or partly cloudy. Does it rain more during the summer?

Dude, do you know how long people around here have been clamoring for weather at all? Now that they've added it, we owe it to the devs to wait a year or two for them to figure out how to work rain outs and delays. We all complain that there's none, but people would complain if there was too much. Give them a year to figure it out, and they'll add it when it's perfect, as they have for every other feature in The Show.

Me either. If they're added I certainly hope there's an ON/OFF option.

                    Bingo.
I don't even agree with the MLB rule of calling a game short, due to rain.

The only cool factor I could see coming from a rainout would be a doubleheader, that forces you to juggle your lineup a bit.

Didn't someone even ask for snow a while back?! Seriously?

What I don't understand is how the players and fans can have warm weather gear and cold weather gear yet the umpires are always dressed like it's 80 degrees!

First game of the season in Yankee stadium had rain. One cool thing was all the dirt got messed up and looked like it was muddy in a way.

I don't think it effected the game at least I didn't notice that much of a difference hitting or fielding.

Rainouts would be fine and it would be cool to play a doubleheader. Rain delays though I am not such a fan of unless everything went back to how it was before the rain delay and I am guessing the only thing that would change would be the clocks in the stadium advancing to when the rain delay is over.

No one ever seems happy with the game unless they have some part of it to complain about.

Please go watch a You-Tube video of Mattel Intellivision baseball. Then watch MLB 11 The Show. Then play the game and realize what a great thing you have.

No kidding, the textures on those jerseys are horrible. The pitcher doesn't even have sweat on the brim of his cap...what were they thinking?
