Re: Franchise Copy Ability Has Returned
This is my first year owning this series so forgive me if it's already possible, but based on alot of the discussion on here it doesn't appear to be... Is there anyway that the developers could somehow make it where you can import your ongoing franchise from MLB The Show 2011 into The Show 2012 for next year? I think that would be really cool if possible that way you don't have to start over every year with your franchises.Comment

Re: Franchise Copy Ability Has Returned
Anybody?????
1) I'm using Hustlin's franchise file with all the DLs set up on Opening Day. I'm pretty sure I have the profiles set up correctly, and I'm using the Dodgers as my main team. I like to use real-life lineups for each series, so I make the necessary roster moves. I tried placing all the correct players on the DL and making the necessary callups, but when I tried to start a game, it said that I had too many players on my active roster. Am I doing something wrong? The way that I fixed this problem was to move all the players on the DL down to Class-A, since I'm planning on doing all the roster moves for each team myself anyway. That's the same thing I did last year, but I was trying to see if I am missing something in order to make the DL/active roster work correctly.
2) Obviously, moving players down with no options causes them to go through waivers. I thought that since I was controlling all 30 teams, I would have the say on whether or not the AI claims players off waivers. But to my surprise, after my third game against the Giants, some of the players that I had sent down to Class-A that passed through waivers were claimed by other clubs. I set up the franchise according to your instructions (at least I thought I did), but maybe I'm doing something wrong here as well.
If you could please help me out with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. I just wanna get my franchise started!!!!
Thanks in advance.Comment

I´m trying to understand as much as I can about how to set up my franchise. I see that many people ask for the 40 and 25 men roster.
What's the difference between these two?Comment
