What are the stars on the dates on the offseason calendar?

As I sim the offseason, I note that there are gold stars on some dates. What is the significance of these gold stars? I can't find that in the sparse documentation.

Haha...I guess you missed the option on the calendar that states..."VIEW DATE SIGNIFICANCE"!

I did. I'm in RTTS, and I don't find that option - where is it?

Click on the date... The next menu will have "view date significance" or something to that nature... Hit that up for the explanation...

Thanks - is there an easy way to stop the game when it is simming the offseason? The O key doesn't seem to work.

If I'm worried about stopping the offseason at all I will just sim between stars... Or two weeks at a time depending on why I'm concerned about stopping... Otherwise O blows

You need to hold O for quite a bit of time during the offseason for some reason. It's responsive during the season but you need to hold it for like 2 days of sim during the offseason it seems.

Yeah...I have to keep whacking at it to stop the sim.
That's why I pick a date and that's it.
