How many runs do you score per game?
My games are usually 1-0,2-1, 1-2 . I can never get that big scoring game.. What do you think will help that? I am going to try pitchig on HOF and hitting on veteran and see ifthat helps at all

Re: How many runs do you score per game?
I'm using JGAinsey's Analog Sliders.
Tied for first with the NL East with the Phillies, It's actually mothers day in game, and we are playing each other, I'll play it tonight.
Runs/Game - 3.56
RunsA/Game - 3.21
I'm 20-13 I think. Not too sure as I'm away from the game.MLB: Atlanta Braves
NFL: Atlanta Falcons
College: Clemson Tigers

Re: How many runs do you score per game?
I'm also using Jgainsey's analog sliders, and I'm averaging just over 4 runs a game so far. I think I was somewhere between 4.00-4.10 last time I checked.
I'm just getting into the 3rd week of June in my franchise. Now, more than everComment

Have you made any moves in your franchise? I need to replace McClouth, he isn't doing anything, and Lowe is stinking it up as well.MLB: Atlanta Braves

Re: How many runs do you score per game?
ahahaha I've been meaning to post in your thread. You sliders gave the game more playability in my opinion. I hate the buttons I get bored, and with analog I couldn't find balance.

I haven't made any moves yet, but I'm almost at the point in the season where I need to start thinking about some kind of trade. I'm 1 or 2 games behind the Phillies at 38-32.
McLouth has been barely passable for me, but I'll definitely see what's available in CF. Though I probably won't make a big move unless there is a bad injury. My starters have been great, 1-5, with Hudson actually being the least consistent, but still good. So I definitely won't be looking for a change their.
With the exception of Sherrill and Martinez, the bullpen has been very good as well. Though I'll probably address the bullpen with some call ups if need be.
Sorry for the thread jack. Now, more than everComment

Glad they're working for ya. I actually made a couple of small changes a while back, but I kind of forgot about the slider thread... I guess I'll update it with my final set sometime soon.

Re: How many runs do you score per game?
My bullpen has been lights out, Moylan has a .65 era. Sherrill and Linebrink are my weakspots. Martinez for me is an automatic K, I don't know why I can do so good with him. Lowe is killing me. Hanson isn't doing great either, I'm thinking of trading McClouth and Sherrill for a good righty releiver and moving schaffer to CF.

Re: How many runs do you score per game?
Is that with JGainsey's sliders? I'd definitely say give them a chance. I have a nice variety of games, and i get alot of walks. Keeps that part realistic.
I've had a few games in a row where I score 5 to 6 runs, then some where i get shutout.
Example. in a st louis series I score 5, 3, 9 runs.
Next series I got shut out twice and then scored 1.Last edited by ChopTalk; 06-10-2011, 10:00 PM.MLB: Atlanta Braves

Re: How many runs do you score per game?
It's weird.
I score 4 runs per game; usually have a respectable ERA, but I lose like a pro! LOL!
I've tallied probably 100+ games since launch, and honestly; if you add up my total wins to losses, I am DEFINITELY several...if not double digits...under .500.
I can't really complain, because my numbers are great. I just lose.
How are all these guys like "57-42" over in the franchise thread?
Am I, dare I say, 'Lebron like' in my ability to close games?!?!Comment
