Can position players pitch?

I was just curious if there is a way to have a position player pitch in a mop up role. I'm in the middle of a game getting blown out and wouldn't mind just giving up and messing around with a position player on the mound. I tried taking out the DH but it won't let me.

Idk for american league... but for NL you can, they can only throw a fastball around 85, and they can get hurt quick just from throwing a pitch.

Jack Cust has had about 3 solid innings for me when i go extra innnings, like in the 20's.
