My ps3 has decided it can no longer eject discs but luckily for me it's the Show that's stuck in the drive. So I'm still alive! I figure I'll start a new franchise to play throughout my time off this Australian summer and then get my ps3 fixed/replaced for the Show 12.

This is the only game I'm playing on PS3 at the moment. I picked up both NCAA 2012 and Madden 2012, but both games are just absolutely horrible. I guess I shouldn't expect any less from EA. After a few months of frustration really trying to enjoy those two games I gave up and went back to playing my RTTS pitcher.

I feel you on the football titles; I popped The Show back in my PS3 today for the first time in a couple of weeks, and man, it was just a great experience. What I love about this game is that win or lose, it never lets me down in terms of the GAMEPLAY experience. This game just oozes baseball, and I love it. I never feel cheated when I lose a game, or feel that I have to force myself to play through a game, like I do with NCAA and Madden.

I honestly don't know why I waste my time with those games.

Who stops playing The Show as Madden get released??
I still play The Show but not nearly as much, I play Madden heavily till MLB playoffs then setup the playoffs and play them along with a few Madden league games, then that takes us to NBA 2k.
It is a revolving sports door!!!!

Has anyone finished a full baseball season this year with no simming??

I finished the regular season but franchise got corrupted during world series, so now playing another franchise.

I have Madden and played some exhibition games, but it's not enough to make me want to stop playing MLB The Show. When I finish my current franchise, I'll probably start playing Madden.

Finally got back into resuming my franchise last night and played my first spring training game of 2012. I haven't played in about a month and man do I need to hit the batting cages badly I only mustered up 3 hits. My timing was all off. I guess that is what spring training is for anyway. Going to play this game a lot more often to keep my skills sharp for mlb 2012 the show.

Aout a month ago my PS3 YOD with 6 games left to go in my Mets season (I play all 162 games, playoffs, WS). So I bought a new PS3 and I am 32 games into the season.

Finally got back into resuming my franchise last night and played my first spring training game of 2012. Aout a month ago my PS3 YOD with 6 games left to go in my Mets season (I play all 162 games, playoffs, WS). So I bought a new PS3 and I am 32 games into the season.

Would it work if you saved franchise to USB stick and put that in your new PS3 and continue from point saved?

Sort of...Played a handful of games and just couldn't get a good feel for the batting cam. Plus, I have too many other games I need to catch up on due to the recent influx of great games recently

I not playing much anymore since Madden 12 and NBA2k12 came out. It's the same every year with me. I play MLB till Madden and NBA come out. I play Madden till about Jan., February. I play NBA until MLB comes out the next year it's the same cycle with me very year.

I pick it up here and there. Just got done playing a game against the Yanks this morning. I'm the Twins, still in my yr one franchise. I wonder what you fellas do to quicken up the season? For example, I heard play 2 out of the 3 or 4 games in the series and sim the rest. Any word?

Still going with Balt and Cincy franchises. Also with RTTS as well. I cant stop playing even with all the other great releases this fall.

I play the first game of every series. That way I can get in multiple seasons, feel like I have some effect on the results by playing some games and still be a good GM by building a team that will have to win games by simming.

I do this every damn year....I buy The Show at launch, play the living **** out of it all spring/summer, I sell it in the fall thinking I've had my fill and I'm ready to move onto football, then basketball...I do so...and then I end up buying The Show again in November, and I play the living **** out of it all winter.

I just started a franchise after all those hours playing online and RTTS. Still in ST playing every single game but from what it looks like they'll be winning all the way: The New York Mets, the 2011 World Champion.
