In order for this to be fun in a meaningful way, the game needs to implement (general) manager/coach personalities first. Without differences in managerial tendencies, I don't think this would be all that meaningful.

Can we get a trade finder tool, like in 2k? It might set up some more realistic trades.

All these ideas are really, really great. But if there's not some drastic changes this year to franchise I'm not purchasing. I've been a buyer of this game since 2007 and its gotten a ton better, but mlb 11 aside from the amazing lighting and new menu's, it was just stale. Im really hoping they bring something this year to franchise, like an overhaul, maybe a new commentator etc.

I love this game and cant see a year go by without me buying another installment, but im hopin to see something that makes the game not stale anymore

Well, I am really tired of being a GM with no consequence, no contract over the years. Playing the same team for an infinite amount of years is not fun, not challenging. I have go back to 2010 because they removed that feature. 2011 is on the shelf, accumulating dust...even if pitching was more fun.

We need to be able to negotiate contract in-season with players, and be able to make decision with our coach during the season(Hire/fire/contracts). If they would PLEASE get rid of the e-mails bugs in franchise. Give us a way to delete several e-mails at the same time. In lineups, we need the see the stats of rhp vs lhp easily, when making them. When we negotiate with a player, getting a counter offer would be nice...that would actually seems like negotiation.

#1 - The Franchise budget problems from the last two games HAVE to be fixed. What is the point of a Franchise if you cant trade, draft, sign players after 3-4 seasons? A MUST!

#2 - The trade logic has no...well, logic.

#3 - Whats the deal with the limitations on training. I can only have 5 types of positions in the weight room? "Sorry Stephen Drew, you cant work out. Only outfielders, catchers, and thirdbasemen can lift weights." Just do away with training altogether and let the coaches ratings improve the players, unless of course the coaches have negative values, which leads me to...

#4 - I never understood why the pitching and hitting coaches have negative impacts on players. Like my hitting coach has a contact value of -2 or the pitching coach's K/9 is -3. Really? My coaches make my players worse? That sucks. I was under the impression they "coached."

#5 - I also would love an easier way to see how my players are improving. I would like something more objective like a number system. Sometimes my hitters in the offseason gain +15 in power, but what does that mean? How far did that little bar move? Its really hard to make sense of.

The coaches and training thing is something I would like to see, the issues with teams running out of cash and players being paid way to much for no experience and all that "2014 Franchise Glitch" stuff I HAVE to see before I buy this game. The Show 2009 had no issues with this, maybe take a look there to see where something was lost. I dont know. Im excited for the game, I just hope this budget stuff has already been addressed.

Not sure if this has been asked, but will Miami be in the AL in 2013? Can we have a realignment tool like NBA 2k?

Award System
Too many Baltimore/Atlanta players win Gold Gloves. Just because their the first team in the AL/NL East doesn't mean their pitcher should win the GG for having a 1.000 Fielding %.
Franchise
- Better Trade Logic
- No-Trade Clauses
- Move Houston to AL in 2013.
- Addition of 1 WC team

The game needs accelerated counts (AS AN OPTION). I want to play every game of a 162 game season but not every pitch. You can start an at bat a few pitches in based on the players' attributes and some randomness. So a good pitcher will usually be ahead in the count, a good hitter will usually be ahead in the count, etc etc etc. Also some randomness so sometimes Pujols starts an AB in an 0-2 hole vs a bad pitcher.

I would love to bang out a bunch of years in franchise but the only way to currently do it is by simming alot.

This is what I was going to add. I need generated counts. I play MOM and with ASB I was able to get a game done in 15-20 minutes. Right now the Show takes 1 hour plus and I just don't have the time do commit to that.

I agree that would be great and if they could fix it so the computer does not make line up changes, this would cut down the prep time before a season as you could do it when you create a roster or it would be all set when you download one, I don't understand why this has never been fixed, as in older game you were able to do this

I believe I read here at OS awhile back, Russell saying something along the lines of MLB 12's franchise mode is gonna get some improvements.

I am an offline franchise only player, never played online or RTTS, so hopefully what he said is true.

the generated pitch count would be a wonderful addition! However, the only thing I would be worried about is that the "actual" pitch count may be inaccurate.

For example, if the hitter is up 3-0 and the pitcher throws a strike I would hope its not the pitchers 1st pitch of the at bat (instead of his 4th). I doubt they would miss it, but you never know when you have a million things going on.
