Re: MLB 12 The Show Custom Cover Thread
As for the Hamilton one. He really should be in front of the wide fade background.
If you want to use the background he is on, you need to separate him in one copy and put it on top of the fade, then duplicate the entire photo with background and put it behind the fade.
Also the pic is on top of the baseball seams.
If you separate Josh from the copy, you can put the seams on the background copy and will appear behind Josh rather than hidden.
Also, Im not a fan of the filter youre using but thats my personal opinion.
Did all of that make sense?Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Custom Cover Thread
Here's an example...
Josh & his background are 2 separate layers.
I separated Josh from one and placed it over the fade, then placed the full layer behind the fade and moved the seams behind josh but over the full background.
I actually forgot to fix the Interactive Text layer, but I think you get the idea.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Custom Cover Thread
I dont know.
The filters you and Cubfan use, I guess just makes them look fake.
IMO I want the player to look real or as real as his pic is.
Some of my covers look fake because they are. Theyre actually paintings. But most of them are pics from Google and thats just the way I like it.
But again... Thats me. Everyone is different in what they like.
I did like the LaHair cover CubFan did, but in general, they are not of my tastes.
I do like ADA's covers. Those are usually pretty tight.Comment
