It was like the pitcher was standing right next to me.

I changes the feilding view to medium for me which made it easy to field again...but not anymore immersive.

Did you try Catcher view 4?
As I already mentioned, I found a terrific view for hitting. That's not the problem. Plus, I

Do you happen to know what crosstalk is, by the way? I've had it on certain things before, but since The Show has a lot of still images/cameras, it's much more noticeable in this game. If it didn't sound like it before, I've mentioned that I've found good in the 3D, but IMO 2D is the way to go in this game. Remove the crosstalk, framerate, and resolution issues that come with the 3D, and you have a winner (or "preference to change").

yeah, i have had minimal crosstalk...during night games in certain stadiums who can see a ghost image of the pitcher.

I guess like most things...everyone has there preference. I did not see any difference in framerate. i had no drawback at all. It was baseball hitting at its best...but that is just me.

My experience has been pretty much exactly how Blazr described it. The only thing that I will add is that, along with the pitcher cam, there is no 3D effect when the camera switches to the fielding cam on a ball hit into play.

That's no true, I clearly see a considerable layer of depth when the ball is hit into play.

If you're implying the 3D literally shuts off when the ball is put in play, that would be a rather completely inaccurate statement. If you're simply saying that the effect is minimalized (as it should be... what is to be sticking out in 3D during this scenario, really?), then I see what you're saying. Sometimes if you hit a line drive with the ball still in view though (especially with the Broadcast fielding cam), it's cool to see if flying in front of everything else. The biggest hiccup is all in the framerate, though.

I had hoped to see the fielders have some depth to them.

Technically, they are in front of the grass that is behind them in the background. There just isn't much to stick out in this case, though.

Sometimes 3D just has to come naturally, and not try and show off too much when it's not necessary. That's what begins to make it a "gimmick."

So what stadium do you guys think looks best in 3D from the batters view. I've only tried a handfull so far but for some reason Coors field works really well.

+1 to this. I have a 55 inch NX810 3D tv from Sony and have not had any good experiences with playing games in 3D. Movies are fine but gaming is another story.

I would agree if the effect looked natural. But, to me, it doesn't. Therefore I want it to be less subtle.

I just got the PS3 24" 3D TV and I'm totally blown away at how good the 3D games I have look on it. The 3D depth is very noticeable to me throughout the whole game.

Awesome..not sure if you have a LED 3D TV but would like to know how it compares. On my LED 3Dtv there is a lot of ghosting in games like uncarted and resistance.

Depends on what model you have.
I have an LG47LW4500 (LED Plus) and have no ghosting whatsoever.
