RIP, Raleigh... makes me wonder what went into considerations as to which umpires got their contract renewed and not...

To be perfectly honest with you I wanted an entire new roster of umpires, but Brady (inside joke only the guys who have visited the studio will get this) had a soft spot for those 6. If it was up to me everyone was getting the axe.

I am hoping for more batters box dirt degradation as well as some grass improvements. How bout each time a player comes up to bat instead of writing out what they did how bout having a in game box score for the player??

I always thought they looked cool on the TV broadcasts hopefully they can add something like this. Also how bout getting rid of the dropped ball 4 error thing. Way to many errors by catchers because of this.

great...franchise falls short every year due to various bugs and issues but look, we get new cleats!

Well that is what i meant... i was just so freaking excited that i neglected to type the rest.... still that is freaking awesome and amazing and i still bow down at the alter of Scea!!!! great job guys...

you never rest, your ALWAYS doing whatever it takes to take this game to new heights and the next level every year... If every game team was as dedicated to their games as you are we would never have a bad game come out!!! again.... ALL HAIL SCEA!!!!!

I think all these free agent signings and trades are going to take a little bit for the shots to come out since we just got some. But I hope I am wrong, I'm interested to see players with new gear on.

yea, i didnt see many of those changes being that big in madden 09, but they did release a list at the time and they did have that many additions, tweaks and changes.
I dont think SCEA had a big number to shoot for, i think they just dug in to make the best baseball game ever and when the smoke cleared 70 things were implemented.
I fully expect this to be a mind blowing year for MLB The Show.

This is only the first thing announced, bro. It's not like they'll start with something huge like franchise. Calm down.

Well I'm from Missouri and they are going to have to show me. I've provided a detailed list of things broken in manage mode and years go by with the same problems unaddressed. I suspect in the bugs and glitches thread I will again cut and paste the previous bugs and glitches.

There are a lot of things to like about the game, visually it is spectacular but a couple weeks of programming devoted to fixing manage mode would do wonders for my perception of the game.

Yes for the batting gloves under fielding gloves as an option.

• There are two more shoe options
• We have the new concussion helmet that all minor league players will wear this year.
• We have compression sleeves this year
• We have wrist braces
• There are new ball cap bill options: Flat, Semi flat, curved very curved, etc.
• There are new elbow brace options as well
