I kinda get that vibe too seeing how it has been omitted from the previews

I can't wait to see collision detection and the new tag animations at the plate

And I have a feeling thats because Sony wants to save the best for last.

But man I am loving everything else that has been talked about so far!
Most of the presentation and commentary gets added late in the process. Even when we have been to SCEA in January some of the elements were not in. So it is really hard to comment on this type stuff because they are probably not seeing much of the new planned for the game.

Is this system really as great as it sounds where if you manually could have two people run into eachother they physically could not go through each other?

So we should not see any players going though each other anymore like they are ghost?
The ESPN article said players don't pass through each other like ghosts anymore.

I love everything I see so far seems to be another great year for MLB The Show fans but if I may ask has anyone heard anything new about stats being more into this game than in years past? like an update on the players card that has more than just 4-5 stats and has more like what Madden and other games have where there are 10-15 stats lines and not just (BAA,HITS,HRS,RBIS,SB)

Also I hope the new Trade Logic works out well....I got another game that said they fixed it and wow was it still a mess.

Good stuff. I was one of the ones who didn't care much about the collision detection (low on my priority list, anyway), but that's a nice addition. Ball physics, FA signing, and zone analog hitting are what grabbed me most from this article. Pulse pitching...we'll see. I liked analog A LOT, so I'm unsure the new scheme can pull me away. I'll check it out though.

Or like talented baseball players pass through the Mets disabled list?

Also when did the demo for 2011 come out last year? I seriously cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of this game.

Sounds fantastic but I am hoping so much that they sim 25+ seasons and check every offseason to make sure FA and finances aren't screwed up. Big name FA's sitting unsigned and that sort of thing. Has happened the last few years and seems like it is something that should be fixed. Looking forward to The Show '12

I think it was only a couple weeks before the release date.

Now I'm hoping that this year this has made it in there. But what they have listed seems amazing.

Ball physics by itself, if programmed correctly would give you a completely new game in itself, that right there is a game changer.

2 new training techniques in Road to the Show (baserunning, fielding), as you're now a Double-A starter who is the most touted prospect on the team

Does this mean you now start out as a Blue chip prospect in Road to the Show? Maybe I'm reading more into it than what there is, but if that's the case would seem to slow down being traded numerous times, and would start out higher rated than in the past.
