I'd like the swings to be more realistic too and from what I've seen in the footage so far, they are. How are you gonna say they haven't changed when you watch Ryan Howard reach low and outside to go opposite field for a single ? It never looked like that in MLB 11.

I tried to dissect the swing, but doing it on a youtube video is kind of hard. The reaching part looked good, but I am more concerned with how solid squared up hits will look. from other videos the follow throughs on those looked the same as last year.

I feel ya on this but I am not sure how big of an undertaking it would be. I also want this aspect improved but with the Vita version I am going to have to doubt much has been done.

I 2nd that... still looking for those signature follow through swings. Would really add alot to the game. Especially for players like Ichiro who have really unique swings.

I agree the swings needs to be tweaked. Not just signature "Home Run" on cut scenes, but, in normal swings, especially the follow through to run transitions. Last year, the players leaned too far foward and the follow throughs looked bad.

JD, Im from the Boro also, Cason Lane area, anyways, the the players are too upright when they swing and they roll over too soon. There is no weight transfer to the front foot, just hip rotation. Then on follow through, the guys are leaning forward and the bat heads are almost hitting their backs! The foul ball swing animations look ok though. I wish they could use those swings for the hit transitions. Also, the need to have abbreviated follow throughs for the oppo hits too, one-handed and two-handed. Anyways, I'll holler at ya.

Ha! Ya, im off Rucker by the new the new publix, just down the street from ya. Thats crazy! Man, they need to fix these swings bo, I love this game but, to me, the swing is baseball. I mean, theres nothin better than a sweet swing, like Griffey Junior or something. People always talk about DiMaggio and Williams and Ruth and their swings, this game doesnt have that grace and power. Oh well, We'll be at Nobodys tonight watchin basketball, come down and getcha a beer!

Can you check out Citi Field and how it looks with the new dimensions and the Blue Wall. Also let us know how the Miami Marlins' stadium looks.

What are the sound slot choices this year for Team Music? (Walk, Away Team Error, RBI, etc.)

Hey, I had forgotten about this before but just remembered while watching MLB Network:

Please check to see if John Lester's height has been corrected. He should be 6'4 but in 11 he is 6'0 and looks stubby. Thanks!

I will double check, but it should be fixed due to them fixing the height in a roster update last year.

How are the bat on ball sounds, glove sounds, and whatever else they recorded at the minor league game?

Lester, Blevins, Breslow and few others were all corrected in following SCEA rosters. The thing is they were wrong on first few rosters and all derived OSFM rosters were based on that original ones from SCEA.

But, maybe this year we'll have the ability to import/export all players, not just custom ones !! ?? That would solve this kind of problems forever.

The bat and ball sounds, and glove sounds are fantastic. Dead on! Was playing the Vita with my headphones and the snap of the ball in the catchers mitt an being thrown around the base paths sounded like you were there.

Bat sounds have a healthy crack, soft nub sounds, (depending on contact), you name it.

                                SoxFan, Lester is fixed.
