Re: Community Day - VITA Version - Questions/Concerns/Inquiries
To add, they are nothing like the PSP. They actually move like minnie Dual Shock sticks, with just the right amount of resistance so they do not feel sloppy or loose.
You can hold them in various positions with ease. Almost easier than the Dual Shock. This system was built with analog in mind.
And oh yay gorgeous, gorgeous, did I mention gorgeous screen?
Pinching to zoom in and out on replays was a nice touch for the multitouch screen which is just as responsive as an iPhone or iPad.Must resist.............

Re: Community Day - VITA Version - Questions/Concerns/Inquiries
1. What are the loading speeds for a normal game.
2. Does the game flow easy with out any real chunky movements unlike the psp version.
3. Online do they expect it to be just as good as console or better due to less busy servers.Comment

1. Do not know, but they are pretty quick.
2. Plays every bit as good as the PS3. It is basically the PS3 version.
3. Do not know.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

1.) Any chance of video?
2.) How were the animations? Fluid?
3.) How was right analog pitching? Just as good as using a PS3 controller?
Thanks for the info, I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time, I know with the Vita I will finally get some real gaming time in. I have waited a long time for a portable console with graphics like this.Whitesox 2005 Champs!Comment

1. Sony will be releasing some soon.
2. Smooth as silk. Looks like a mini PS3 version.
3. Just as smooth as the PS3 version.
Trust me. Even 30fps, on the gorgeous small screen it was not noticeable. Colors popped. And the gameplay was so dead on to the big brother PS3, that the transitions from playing the two were only screen size.
They did a fantastic job tuning the analogs and mirrored gameplay. That is why you use and A-team to develop.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Community Day - VITA Version - Questions/Concerns/Inquiries
Yes this is the only way to play. I am also disappointed that they decided not to put in the full broadcast presentation into the vita version or at least put an option to turn it on or off. I also HATE the fast play in the PS3 because it is just baseball and is missing all of the cut scenes that is a strong point for this series. It sounds like from the responses that we got from the community day is that there is more presentation then what is currently in the ps3 fast play. The vita version is a great addition for the ps3 player who wants to pick up a few games from their franchise/rtts while on the go, maybe not for the player who wants to play their entire franchise/rtts exclusively from the vita. Still need more gameplay videos to determine just how much it has been gutted.Last edited by GreenGlen; 01-23-2012, 12:30 AM.Comment
