Re: MLB 12 The Show Soundtrack Revealed
Forget my last post SCEA, just listened to a few of them and I must say.. you guys have freaking great taste in music. Every single year you guys have a song or 2 that I will be listening to until the next game. Can't wait to listen to them in the game with my Sony Stereo Wireless Headset, the song I'm enjoying the most is Hooray for earth - no loveWhy did I move here? I guess it was the weather.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Soundtrack Revealed
I've never heard of most song that are released in mlb games, so I always try to listen to all of them before the games released and decide if I like any or not. Last year I got about 5 or so songs from MLB 11s soundtrack that I liked and used in the game. Hopefully there'll be a good amount in this years soundtrack that I like too.
Has anyone been able to find "Zed and Two Naughts by The Mars Volta" anywhere?Last edited by Majingir; 01-08-2012, 01:41 AM.Comment

What a waste of time, money and resources. Another year of songs a majority of people never heard of.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Sweet Lord of Mercy, these are bands that are trying to get some exposure. They aren't the big names that dip too deep into the wallet for SCEA. Not really "a waste of time, money and resources."Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

Re: MLB 12 The Show Soundtrack Revealed
Actually quite the contrary! They stick to artists under the Sony music label for most if not all the songs which results in a great savings to them when incorporating the music. If they went the route of incorporating all "A" list talent and went out the Sony label then you are right it would be a huge waste of money. Music needs to be incorporated into the game to some extent plus with the ability to add your own flavor to the game it really is not a big deal. Also, it is not like they have 50 people working on the game looking for music, its very minute.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

However, there has not been a weirder song on any of these games than Passion Pit - Little Secrets.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Soundtrack Revealed
I don't need to hear new music from a video baseball game. Plus I never said I didn't listen, if I didn't listen how would I know they were garbage? To me putting this kind of music in a baseball game is pointless, just like having a certain player on the cover, I could care less who's on the cover, I don't turn the game on and look at the cover, and I don't buy a video baseball game to hear new music.Last edited by CubFan23; 01-08-2012, 07:44 PM.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer
