                First: thanks for posting this.

                Second: Even though this is clearly MLB 11, I do see some positive in this. SCEA probably doesn't want to release the Official MLB 12 trailer until people see this one first in order to avoid confusion between the two games. The way I see this trailer, it's basically saying, "if you think this is good, wait 'til you see '12." This video may just open the floodgates for what's to come.

                        U can see 2 times in the trailer that show the logo for 11. I can also tell that its from 11 cause at the end adrian is bigger in 12 and in that trailer he wasnt that big. MAYBE theres a couple new scenes in there but wouldnt be surprised if the majority of that was from 11 cause it didnt impress me at all.

                                Maybe SCEA should've created a Brad Pitt CAP or something and include him in the trailer. Some might even buy the Show just because of it...

                                            In that trailer, the way the ball comes off the bat looks better than it does in MLB 11. That's my opinion.

                                                        Pretty odd they would stick an '11 video and call it a '12 trailer, but then i guess its only for a BluRay extra.

                                                            I can't recall if SCEA has done it before, but it's fairly common practice with sports games. It's really about giving a general impression of the game and reminding people a new one is on the way.

                                                            These games don't make drastic enough visual changes from year-to-year for it to matter for an initial trailer. While I'm not personally a fan of the practice, I know it's not geared towards me...it's geared towards more of a general audience who is less likely to pick up on visual subtleties. So I doubt it's much of a consideration for marketing.

                                                            I do feel bad (in a semi-sarcastic and snickering way) for people who might have actually bought the BR with hopes of getting a sneak peak or something though...lol.
