Wait... is it confirmed we are getting a new confidence system? Any specifics on the changes (of the confidence system)?

I don't know it means an "overhaul", but it's one of the improvements that have often been mentioned. ("new confidence logic" and such.)

He's made some pretty good observations on CPU contact in 2 strike counts, and the dynamic variety of single game strikeout numbers with pitcher's that aren't/aren't currently aces.

I'd also like to see more of those 8-10+ K game's with non-household named pitchers. It's definitely do-able currently, but just slightly not as frequent as I'd like to see...you know, on that rare day or two a season, when the stars align and confidence is maxed out and everything is firing on all cylinders. It definitely happens now...so don't take me the wrong way... but I'd personally like to see a bit more swing throughs and a few more taken strike 3's when these circumstances occur.
        Well said Sir!

My original point was that this was for 3,4,5 type pitchers. This has nothing to do with the turtle and speed. I think you may have overlooked my initial point.

How about Randy Wells or Chris Capuano then...

            This reflects my point too.

            3,4,and 5's.

Aces are fantastically realistic currently. And for the most part, middle/bottom tiered guys are too. Except K's - and also BB, for that matter - could stand to be a bit more dynamic on a start to start basis.

Pre 2011 AJ Burnett is a perfect example. I'd like to see that one 11 K game, "oreo-ed" between games where he's so awful that he walks 7 and gets yanked in the 3rd. I DO see this now, I'd just like to see it a touch more. Nothing drastic, but a little more frequent nonetheless.
