Pulse pitching seems to be a more complex version of the pitching mechanic used by com2us in there 9innings baseball game for iPhone or iPad.

I really want to see footage of Cliff Lee and Roy Halladay to see if their motions are improved. I absolutely hated Lee's motion last year.

As for the new zone analogue hitting, I speak as someone who can't even walk and chew gum at the same time, so I will definitely be sticking with the timing method.
More than likely the longer you hold down the pitch button the "harder" the throw. That's my guess anyways.

Am I the only one that noticed that David Wright had a different style of helmet?

I wasn't that great with analog batting, but I'd atleast like to try ZAB, and Pulse Pitching, in spring training.

Currently there is no way to control speed in pulse pitching. May be incorporated in the future.

I noticed that of course! But the problem is, no biggie of course as I'll change it, he doesn't wear that kind of helmet. It's very cool looking though. All the mets players have worn the same type of helmets since 2006. You can even check, the mets are the only team to have every single player wear the same helmet since 2006, when at the time, those were the new helmets that came out. I think it might be a mets policy.

For pulse?...unfortunately not.(this is one thing I hope they change about it)
It's all ratings driven right now.
I don't know if there is any mechanism in place to factor in pitch count and base runner situation.

I don't mind this that much. Most of the time I'm maxing out my effort anyways.

Its not that big of a deal but I can definitely see it being implemented for people who like to add a little "finesse" to their pitches.

Speaking of helmet policy, I noticed that all the Tampa Rays hitters sport a shinny helmet. No tar à la Vladimir Guerrero, Jorge Posada and others. Perhaps that's a team policy as well. Looks neat...

Yeah, I mean no player on the mets since spring of 2006 has worn the older style helmets. So it has to be a policy. And in the game it's easy, because I automatically know which helmet to give all of our players. Teams like the phillies have only a few players that wear the newer style helmets. I like the style of the helmets the mets players wear.

Its tough, I can't think of anyone who went solely with that hitting option through the course of the event.

Probably will stick with analog pitching since I love it so much, but I think I will like ZAB and try to adopt it.....it looks pretty challenging. I am noticing a ton of new little bits and pieces with the presentations and accessories. Tulo looks to have a new cleat that I havent seen before.
