Yeah, I mean no player on the mets since spring of 2006 has worn the older style helmets. So it has to be a policy. And in the game it's easy, because I automatically know which helmet to give all of our players. Teams like the phillies have only a few players that wear the newer style helmets. I like the style of the helmets the mets players wear.

That's not an older style helmet in that second video.
Doesn't he wear the "concussion helmet"?(not that giant Spaceballs one that he did wear a while.....a newer style)

I know it's not the older style helmet, I was just saying. And no, he wears the regular helmet everyone else does on the mets, which is the one that was introduced in 2006.

Pulse Pitching sounds really cool. I've always been a classic pitching guy but never liked the lack of control and that your pitches could really end up anywhere. Now with Pulse it seems like if I throw up a cookie, it's because it was my own mistake.

Not sure I'll do the ZAB. Might be too technical for my tastes but I'll give it a shot.

I love the new catching sounds. Makes those swing-and-miss strikeouts sound great! The whip action of the pitching arms are nice as well!

Does aiming the right stick anywhere other then 12:00 influence your swing type at all? Last year, you would supposedly aim it more toward the right to try and attempt a hit that way, and vice versa for aiming it left.

With ZAB it is straight up and down. The 11 and 1 is not necessary because all that is being done with the left stick now. The aiming in the original analog was to done to meet where the pitch was in the zone, not to influence a particular type of hit.

Its tough, I can't think of anyone who went solely with that hitting option through the course of the event.

Yeah. That is what I thought. I was horrible at analog hitting..can't imagine I'm going to do better with ZAB.

this game looks so real.
this is the only game that i dont even bother downloading the demo. i just buy the game on release day.
its always quality.
I also will always buy it for the guys at scea. because they always take the time to come on these boards giving info on the game and listening to our suggestions.

Apologies for being off topic, but what in God's name inspired David Wright to put that contraption on his head? I live out of the Mets market so I don't watch all their games, and I apparently missed this debacle.
