Diamond Dynasty might just be a game changer for the Show. While it sounds like certain modes from other games, it also sounds a bit different as well. Custom logos and uniforms along with "dynasty players" playing along side MLB players? This is going to bring custom team modes to a new level. I can't wait for this game to come out.

In my eyes, it really is! And there is only more possiblities going forward. The robustness of the customization stuff is on par with some of the Play. Create. Share. games that Sony has put out. (disclaimer: not saying that created stuff can be shared)

I can see myself spending hours creating uniforms alone!

Fact sheet looks great. Diamond Dynasty does as well. Can't wait!

What nem was alluding to is NOT a feature. It's something out of the ordinary from SCEA's normal routine...but NOT a feature.
Guys are still blowing this up.
You're good nem...real good.

I wonder what outfield collisions are going to look like.

No OF collisions....there is better collision avoidance and I believe what some guys may be referring to is perhaps the "takeout" plays at 2B on double plays.
I'm pretty sure there is some new things there this year.

While I can't say much........and yes....it's similar in there are teams...and you play..but that's about it.... it is pretty deep. Interesting. Time eater. Custom logos. Custom uniforms!.....You have to think....and plan....
I think the possibilities of DD as a new mode are pretty substantial.

Sucks seeing the yanks bring in a righty out of the pen to face big papi when a lefty was warming up.
also seeing papelbon come out of a game because he let up a two run dinger.

It's a quick drop down attribute OSD. So you don't have to press Start or Select and break the flow of the game

also, was anything done to Reliever AI?
Sucks seeing the yanks bring in a righty out of the pen to face big papi when a lefty was warming up.
also seeing papelbon come out of a game because he let up a two run dinger.

That was improved in '11. Did you say you were playing an older version?

yes i still play ten, but i played 11 for a bit last year and saw some wonkiness like that, hard to say if it was much better as the sample size was low, but I did play enough to see those instances.

i dont mind the closer getting yanked as much, but using a righthanded reliever in a LOOGY spot gets me a bit.

I hear you....but in talking with Brian...it's coded to go with the player who is most effective vs. regardless of handedness.(not rating I think...but recent stats)
I'd have to hear from him to confirm that(we talked a LOT of things)...but I did speak to him about it.
The game is not(obviously) hard coded to go with lefty vs. lefty...etc.
He was willing to change this up to go with lefty with best vs. ....right with best vs......in situational pitching changes...but I don't think that's in '12.

That's because the 14 new umpires news is something Ramone@SCEA unofficially revealed more than a month ago I believe. I'm hoping someone as bad as Eric Gregg is one of the new ones.
