Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?

I'm getting for the Show, and with the hope that they'll make Madden, NBA and NHL also with PS3 like graphics. Yes, I'm a sports freak.

its tough to imagine dropping 300 some bucks just to play more baseball video games...but with a few long trips this summer...it's hard to fight the temptation.

if it is compatible with mlb.tv...that could be the dealbreaker.

It there's any way possible for me to swing it, I'll be getting one. I hate to buy it just for one game, but hey, I did it when I bought the PS3!

The idea of being able to play franchise games on it completely sold me. My wife and kids dominate the TV, so getting on the PS3 every night cannot happen. I have been actually toying with the idea of making a gaming center in my basement, but that would mean I would need a new tv, something to sit on, and a new network device to make sure the wife and kids can still watch netflix on tv. That entire set-up would run me well over $1500.

Now I spot the Vita, and I can spend 1/5th of that and lay in bed and play baseball games. I wasn't going to get it, then it appears as if it was invented for me.

I was sold on the Vita before hearing about the Show cross platform integration, but having the Show available on it made it all so much sweeter!!

I think the ability to play the Show anywhere is what did it for me.

Nope not getting one haha. They look badass and all, but my PS3 and the Tv in my room will do just fine. I don't think I feel the absolute need to take my franchise or whatever on the road with me wherever I go. I can wait till I get home I won't die lol

Crazy thing is, I'm not even really a portable gamer... but I am a gadget freak with too much spare money lol, so she shall be mine! I'm sure I'll play more on the once I get my Vita.

Couldn't have said it better myself - I now see what my lunch break will primarily consist of. At this point, I'm not getting any other games on it until MGS releases (and MGS only because my gf does voice over work on the game, so they ship it to her).

The way to think is that it's only 250/1500 = 17% of what you've already spent. With a little push, you can do it. :P

You did it wrong. Try 250/(1500+250) = 14%. He would only have to increase his spending by 14%.
