Been on the fence as to whether I should pick up a Vita just for The Show....kinda regretting looking through this thread as you guys are quickly convincing me to just go and get one already...damn peer pressure!!!PSN ID: mmdmaznn

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
From someone who never really was a handheld guy.. (First one was a 3DS that I sold..then rebought a ZELDA edition which is i storage now) I LOVE the VITA. Having a blast with HSG and still have to crack open my UC game. Can't wait to get The Show. The ability to play my franchise on it and go back and forth with PS3 is HUGE for me.
I've added my own custom backgrounds for my screens etc..
System is top notch IMO.Joshua:

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
I've been playing tons of 2k11 on my pc @ work and I love that game, but it was annoying when I'd get an email or phone call I'd have to minimize my window to take care of business. For that reason alone I am taking a $300+ plus chance the show will be as good as 2k11 was on my pc.Comment

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
I bought a Vita because some of the guys on here recommended it to me and I have to say that it has greatly exceeded my expectations. I'm shocked that Sony is doing such a poor job of advertising the Vita. The biggest surprize is that it made me realize that my Ipod is not the answer to portable gaming for me.
Using my Ipod as a gaming device is like eating Tic-Tacs when I'm starving. It helps but I need more....
My only big complaint is that I want more games to be released on the Vita.Comment

All I am gonna say, is you are in for a big treat. However, the PS3 version is the cream of the crop mainly because of the presentation options comparatively speaking.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

This is what has me slightly worried that I will be disappointed in the vita version. I think I will miss all the presentation elements. In the one video I have seen online its like there is no presentation at all, or they are skipping though it. Oh well I guess I will have to get the ps3 version as well. :PComment

That is exactly what I am doing. Getting both. RttS and Franchise in bed, or on the go (at work, etc)... Too good for words. And the gameplay is dead on, and graphics are virtually identical. This is what has me slightly worried that I will be disappointed in the vita version. I was just letting him know if he is to compare presentation wise, the PS3 is more in thy regard. But for the Vita, it makes sense for the handheld and getting both is baseball gaming bliss!Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
This is what I'm worried about too. I'd be buying a Vita primarily to play the Show(xbox owner). But I'm worried how many presentation elements are out. If it's just camera pans to the crowd or little animations after a strikeout then I can live with that. But if they've taken out HR celebrations, walk off win celebrations, end of game celebrations...that'll be very close to a game breaker for me.This is what has me slightly worried that I will be disappointed in the vita version.
