For those of us getting both versions, I have what I think is an interesting question. If you could get ONE version early, which would you choose? PS3 or Vita?

For me, it would be Vita. I pretty much know what the PS3 version will be, especially after playing it at Best Buy. Yes it is improved and yet I am excited.

But I bought my Vita FOR the Show. With the PSP I always bought both versions but I am beyond excited to see what they have done on the new hardware. Curious to hear other people's anticipation?

I think the Vita as well.
I'm busy for a bit right before and after the release date...so that would fit in perfectly for me.

Vita as long as it's solid. I'm tempted to not even get the Show for the PS3 but I will anyways.

On release day I plan to play maybe a game or two on the PS3, then move to the Vita.

While I love the VITA and am getting both versions I would have to pick the PS3 version. I have too many good times with friends coming over and playing to pass that up.

I have no doubts about the quality, although was a little bummed to hear the Vita version of The Show is set to Quickplay. I may get the system down the road but right now, I can't justify dropping $300-plus for the system and the game.

I have ordered both but i'm more excited about the Vita version.

Of course i prefer the gorgeous presentation in the Ps3, but my marriage will suffer way less if i can play in the couch witting along my wife instead of going to my men's PS3 cave.

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?

I've heard that SCEA disabled quick-play for "creative decisions" and that they assured the Vita could handle broadcast presentation... what I question is why they would voluntarily restrict Vita users from experiencing broadcast? The decision should be up to the user to decide if they have the time or patience to play 1hr games or only 15min spurts...why make that decision for us?

I don't know. Call me paranoid, but maybe the system can't handle all the cut scenes seen on PS3? And the studio can't publicy bring attention to the Vita's limitations or be interpreted as bad mouthing it? Who knows. I'm still gonna love the game on Vita... I'm just bummed I don't get all the cutscenes like PS3 players, because Vita is the only thing I have access to right now.

I have FIFA for Vita right now and there are drops in framerate during some cutscenes and the player models, stadium, etc. aren't nearly as detailed or crisp as its PS3 counterpart.

It can handle them fine. The Vita in fact has more system RAM than the PS3.

It was purely by design. The developers would tell us if it was a limitation or not, they have been brutally honest about everything else.

This thread makes me curious - how many of you folks picking up the Vita have a PS3? I am a 360 guy, so cross-platform gaming doesn't help me. Most of you folks seem to be talking about cross-platform gaming with The Show. Anybody without a PS3 buying the Vita just for The Show?

I wouldn't do that if I only had an 360. The biggest draw is the ability to transfer the saves from Vita to PS3.

I actually just sold my 360 and will strictly PS3/Vita.

My only big complaint is that I want more games to be released on the Vita.
That is a perfect way to describe Ipod gaming. LOL
How awesome would SSX be on vita? I would freak if they would bring it over. If the Vita fails it would be a shame, certainly wouldn't be the hardwares fault.
