I would of like them to add a "Wind" indicator to the overlay screen somehow . The wind does change direction too during a game not sure if they had that in the game .
It could of made a difference on that home run possibly ..Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Gameplay Video - New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers
Here's my synopsis:
PROS -
Fantastic graphics! Crowd, lighting, players, stadium are all stunning (As usual).
Game play and ball physics look right on.
LOVE the new ball-off-bat and mitt sounds!
Replay graphics are fresh and cool-looking.
Faces and stances have life and are convincing.
Some new stat overlays.
CONS -
Commentary still dry, boring, and stiff. I just don't know if I can take another year of the same audio...Ugh
No dirt on unis after infielders dive in the dirt.
Batting cursor is worse this year.
Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to a new season of MLB!!!NOW PLAYING: Battlefield 3, MLB 12 The Show
WISHLIST: Hitman AbsolutionComment

Batting cursor was changed (visually) to be more indicative of the loss of contact as you get away from the sweet spot. You can turn it off as always."Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"Comment

With that said, I do hope that you are listening to what fans of the series are saying about the commentary. And that your are seriously considering revamping it.NOW PLAYING: Battlefield 3, MLB 12 The Show

Re: MLB 12 The Show Gameplay Video - New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers
Every year at this time, SCEA releases some videos so we can see what's in store for the new edition of The Show. Every year at the same time, the bitching and the bashing get started. Same old stuff every year. I bet it's the same people year in and year out who do the bitching and the bashing too. Then, you have the CD people who will defend SCEA not matter what. Since I don't belong to either group, I will reserve my judgment until I play a fair amount of games. Nothing is perfect and yes, the biggest flaw since I started to play The Show in 09 has been the commentary. But, other than that, I have truly enjoyed this great game. I think '12 will prove the same. So relax guys and enjoy the videos as some kind of appetizer before the main course is served... in less than 2 weeks.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o

CD = Community Day
Hey everyone, Ramone Russell here, Community Manager for the SCEA San Diego Studios. Last Thursday and Friday marked the first time we here at SCEA opened the doors of the studio to the general public. We decided to do this for a multitude of reasons, some not as obvious as others. We care a great [...]Comment

The cut scenes between pitches are amazing and I love the sound effects. But I just can't overlook the player models. They are so out of proportion. The throwing motions are weird, the arms are enormous, the shoulders don't move right, and the torsos are too square/wide. I also thought Miggy/Prince looked way off.
Don't get me wrong, the game looks awesome, but the player models are seriously lacking.Comment

Yeah, there's not enough body-types.. There's either normal, Buff, or heavy... There should be skinny, normal, buff, ripped( like D-Wright) and heavy. There should be more details to make a certain part of the players body's bigger, like in 2K.. And their should be more variety of muscles sizes, for the arms. Every player has the same arms, it's unrealistic.Harvey's BetterComment
