    Anyone play The Show on a PC monitor? (black border issue)

    Just got my PS3 last week, and I've been playing it on my 46" Sony 1080p LCD HDTV, but I moved my PS3 into my office so I can play The Show in peace and let my wife watch Rachel Ray or whatever.....heh.....

    I have a nice 27" ASUS 1080p LCD monitor with HDMI inputs. The thing I noticed though is that there's a black border around all the edges when I play The Show 11 demo, but the border isn't there when I'm at the XMB or playing my only other game (Skate 3).

    Anyone else ever play on a computer monitor? I'm wondering if the border is always there or maybe just on the demo? It's only maybe an inch or so thick, so it's not that bad, but it would be nice if it wasn't there. I tried changing the aspect ratio setting on the monitor and that didn't help.

      have you adjusted the screen size in the options of the game? I can't remember if you can do that in the demo or not.

          I've always had this problem with MLB The Show games. Just go into video options in settings and increase the screen size.

              Thanks! I didn't realize there was an in-game option. I just had to max out both the horizontal and vertical size sliders and it fits perfectly now.

                  On my tv the intro is always with black borders but when it goes to the main screen they are gone...

                      I messed around with the screen dimensions in the display options, and that seemed to fix it for me.

                          Where is the in game option for screen size? I looked for that but couldn't find it. I am looking for the vertical/horizontal adjustments. For some reaosn on my 55inch TV the game is a tad bit to big. Just some of the edges get cut off. Nothing major and it really isnt that noticable but it drives me nuts. lol
