It's there during camera cuts but it's obvious from the get go that the game skips to the hitter or pitcher in their stances before a pitch is thrown.
In other words, you'll see a pitch. Camera cuts to hitter. Hitter goes through his routine, but just as the animation needs just a few extra seconds to move seamlessly from pre-at bat signature stance to the batters signature stance, there's a skip in the action when the camera cuts to your batting or pitching cam.
It's jarring and I'm not sure why they made that decision but to speed up the game - which is what I thought Fast Play was supposed to give gamers that didn't want to watch entire routines.
