Well, I'll tell you another thing that's an extension of the answer to your question. Real time is non existent at some points of the game.

It's there during camera cuts but it's obvious from the get go that the game skips to the hitter or pitcher in their stances before a pitch is thrown.

In other words, you'll see a pitch. Camera cuts to hitter. Hitter goes through his routine, but just as the animation needs just a few extra seconds to move seamlessly from pre-at bat signature stance to the batters signature stance, there's a skip in the action when the camera cuts to your batting or pitching cam.

It's jarring and I'm not sure why they made that decision but to speed up the game - which is what I thought Fast Play was supposed to give gamers that didn't want to watch entire routines.

Is everyone getting Black Bars around the game when playing? I have about a inch bar on both the right and left side and also a smaller black bar on the top and bottom... Why isn't the game resolution Fullscreen? It is like you are playing in windowed mode o.O

In the infield, it feels the same to me. In the outfield, I feel there is less suction.
I have not experienced that "get close and sudden, unnatural burst of speed in order to make the catch" thing yet.

Go play online, and you will see it. I thought I heard that you have total control this year all the way down to the last second? I still see a crap ton of canned animations fielding the ball and what not...

My MLB . com in game ticker won't show any updates. How do I fix this? My Internet connection is fine and MLB . com updates are turned on.

Having an issue with Post swing feedback.

Post Swing feedback is working offline vs. the cpu. Shows me my PCI, what pitch the pitcher threw and my timing.

ONLINE i cannot get my post swing timing feedback to show up. It shows where my PCI was, what pitch the opponent threw, but it does not give me feedback on my timing???

in General settings i do have Swing/pitch info ON. Any reason why this is working offline but not online?? Or maybe I am missing a setting somewhere.

Does offline profile you set up, beginner pitching beginner hitting carry over online? And if so do you play your opponent of they are set up differently? Thanks

In Diamond Dynasty, when a batter is entering the box on your team, above the OSD it says "Rating: 0" what does that mean?

even better news malky [and gary33]. there was a problem with my profile, that tabarnes helped conclude, that was causing injuries to take a big dropoff in season 2 and beyond. i thought that was the reason i was seeing a hug drop in League/Team Leader OSDs in season two and beyond as well.
well, i tried playing season two games twice since the problem was figured out and i am seeing a lot more of those, whereas over ten games in season two, i saw one.
i have seen two in the first inning of the last two games i tried, since the faulty profile was located.

still no career vs drop down stat though.

Cool! So is there something I should be aware about with my profile before I start a franchise?

This is really embarrassing, but how do you try to pick off a runner? I've tried what the controls page says to do, but I can't get it to work. It's most likely user error, but any help is greatly appreciated.

Pick a pitch then hold L2 and pick the base you want to throw to. I believe it's from the pitchers prospective do first is square 3rd is circle etc.

Can you turn vibrate off for ONLY when you pitch outside the strike zone?

I like having vibrate on for the rest of the game, I just hate how the controller vibrates like crazy if you're throwing a ball outside the strikezone.

I think it's one of the reasons I'm throwing too many strikes, cause I don't wanna kill my controllers battery with the crazy amount of vibrating just from aiming a ball outside the strikezone.

Anybody know what's up with pulse pitching? With the Yankees, any pitcher not named Sabathia/Kuroda/River/Robertson is a disaster. I am getting absolutely bombed and I don't know why. Rather discouraging. Specifically, I am giving up mammoth home runs at an insane pace with pitchers not in that top 4 I listed. Pitches off the plate, on the corner, fastballs, change-ups, etc. What am I doing wrong? I realize I need the circle to be small for best result, and even when I do that and the pitch is on the corner something called an Andy Dirks just launched a ball off the third deck in Yankee Stadium. I am totally lost here since I didn't have this issue with any pitching mode last year.
