The Show n00b.. for pitching I'll stick with pulse I think.. but for hitting, do they have a system where I can just use the RT stick to pull back and swing (timing)?

I know OSDs make an appearance in franchise mode but does anyone know if they are dynamic?

Also will those stats populate for new players so that my 2015 Rookie can see how he's performed against a now older Felix Hernandez in 2020?

With the new physics system, has anyone seen the ball hit 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, and take a funny hop?

Check out the video thread. Nice video of the ball hitting second base and ricochet to the shortstop for the groundout.

Does anyone know if, in RTTS, I want to play as a Catcher, do I still have to call every pitch? Or have they added a setting where I can choose to play the non-routine plays (throwdowns, pickoffs(?), popups, bunts, dropped 3rd strikes, etc) only?

I went from playing MLB 08 on the PSP to playing MLB 11 on the PS3. In 08, the Catcher was exactly like I wanted it...in 11, I was basically forced into playing a different position.

I like playing multiple years. I really like RTTS for this, as I can play a game in 5-10 minutes as opposed to 1 hour for a normal game. That's a big difference.

Is anyone else noticing that some players pics don't show up in the FA screen, ie Matt Stairs and a couple others?

Here's a list of players who were in the Show '11 but have since officially retired. They should not be in this year's game: Danys Baez; Pat Burrell; Orlando Cabrera; Juan Castro; Craig Counsell; David Eckstein; Adam Everett; Ryan Franklin; Don Lucy; Bengie Molina; Melvin Mora; Jorge Posada; Matt Stairs; Jason Varitek; Tim Wakefield. They were all on their respective team 40-man roster in 2011.

Did any of the signature routines and rituals that Ramone started a thread for some time ago make it in the game?

Also the fact sheet stated their are over 500 presentation animations in the game.
Are they obvious from game to game, or do you have to play a full season to witness a majority of them?

Do any players have specific follow through animations or do they all have the same set of animations? Was pretty disappointed when I saw Pujols' follow through being one of the new generic ones with two hands. It looks a bit silly. Just curious as to how the new follow through animations function. Is it the type of hit, is it embedded into the players stance, or what is deciding which one is displayed?

Anyone using meter pitching this year? I'm a 48-year old fan of this game and have always used meter. I'm kind of set in my ways and will likely stay with meter even though I am reading rave reviews of pulse pitching. Thinking pulse might be a little too tough to master given my pld age.

Just wondering how meter is playing this year? Thanks

Has anyone heard anything about the manager situation in Franchise mode? Last year you could not fire managers mid year....can you do it this year?

What about the HALL OF FAME? No players were ever inducted last year! lol

You can't fire mid-year.
The had to remove all the HOF players.

Where can i access roster vault??

There is a page on the front end to get into the vault once SPORTSCONNECT goes live

How alike is the Vita version to the PS3 version in terms of franchise mode? Specifically how are the options in franchise modes, seasons available, and TRADE/CPU GM AI between the two?

He will be in A..you'll have to move him to the 40 if you want him.

Can somebody help me with issues I'm having with the swing feedback OSD? I turned it to "button" but it will only pop up with the pitch speed and location when I press L3. When I turned it to "on" it does the same thing.
