When I throw regularly to 1st on a fielding play...the right button or circle works fine. Just not on pickoffs.

Is there a setting for this? Anyone else experience it?

    Nit

first base would be on ur left [assuming you are pitching from the outfield vantage point] so to throw to that base you'd hit the leftmost button on the controller, the square.

when u throw to first on a fielding play, first base is on ur right side, so throwing to first uses the right side button, circle.

I saw a few of the early impressions that stated that guys were seeing more walks. This has been the most consistent flaw of any baseball video game in history - the lack of walks. Last year, my pitchers would have K/BB of like 8-10. It has been this way forever in baseball games.

Do those who have the game feel this has been fixed, or will it be same ol'-same ol' once you master the mechanics?

      Thanks.

my opinion is its always been hard to issue free passes using meter.
Analog hasn't changed that. Just to give out walks i almost have to cheat against myself.
but in my short time with the new Pulse Pitching, walks are back!
Now i dont know if over time it will be easier to pinpoint pitches, but so far, so good.

this could be the best baseball game for realism in base on ball numbers.

Through 7 games in my Royals season I've got a 2.56 K/BB ratio (46/18). Admittedly this is the Royals were talking about here, but the walks are there for me. For reference, I'm on pace for 1065 K's (Real Royals had 1080 in 2011) and 417 walks (Royals had 557). Walks are slightly low, but considering this is video game baseball, and I have a team ERA of 6.56, which probably means I should throw out of the zone more, I think it's pretty good.

I am giving up more walks using the meter so far. 2 or 3 walks a game. Your not hitting the meter perfectly this year. I'm on the All-Star level.

Do you see the batter walk up stats when playing on "fast play"? Thanks

Has bunting changed for analog hitting? I screwed up a suicide squeeze during my first game because my guy didn't bunt when I held the analog stick up. The controls for bunting are either different this year or there is a weird setting in my hitting preferences that I need to change. Thanks for your help, guys.

                        Hi All,

Sorry if it's been asked before, but is there an option to display the previous hit/out/at bat with the same swing info that pops up after a pitch that is visible before the next pitch?

In previous versions, we were able to come up during our next at bat and click L3 to see the last at bat's "pay-off" pitch (most of the time). I'd greatly like to see this again so I know when I popped up some pitch, what was off (timing, pci, etc).

                        Thanks,
                        Trevor

There is an option to change bunting between button and analog which I think is defaulted to button.

You know you can save it before you advance to the next training period right? If you get a bunting attribute, reload the RTTS, then advance again...you'll have different goals. At least this is the way it was in The Show 11.

I'll ask one more time, then let it drop...

Does anyone know if, in RTTS, I want to play as a Catcher, do I still have to call every pitch? Or have they added a setting where I can choose to play the non-routine plays (throwdowns, pickoffs(?), popups, bunts, dropped 3rd strikes, etc) only?

I went from playing MLB 08 on the PSP to playing MLB 11 on the PS3. In 08, the Catcher was exactly like I wanted it...in 11, I was basically forced into playing a different position.

I like playing multiple years. I really like RTTS for this, as I can play a game in 5-10 minutes as opposed to 1 hour for a normal game. That's a big difference.
