I know there was an issue with this last year. The hole after spring training the rosters are all screwed up. Do I really need to control all teams I hate this. Is there a way around it.

So after I download Knights rosters and start my franchise, and he keeps updating rosters throughout the season can I download those and use them in my franchise or do I have to keep the ones that I originally started with?

In season mode, are the sliders for the Vita and PS3 independent of each other? I got the sliders on the PS3 pretty good, but I need the sliders on the Vita to be a little different to help with pitch speed and contact. Can I adjust them to be kept different on both systems?

This is with using the same season load from the cloud to both Vita and PS3

You cannot update the franchise rosters, but if you use 30 team control, you could make all the moves yourself.

Don't you guys think that enough is enough with forced long sleeves at night? I played a game the other night and the commentator said that the temperature was 68 degrees and the game FORCED all my guys to wear long sleeves? What is the reason for this? Why shouldn't I decide what my players wear? Like 7 years in a row this has happened. In Franchise the guys usually are only allowed to wear short sleeves for the months of July and August, the rest of the year it's forced long sleeves at night!

This really bothers me.

I hate that the rosters get messed up after spring training. When I start franchise I choose all 30 teams. I set the profile up a little different. For 29 teams I have everything on Auto except for lineups and rotations. I have that on manuel. For my profile customer set I have everything on manuel. I also have cpu controll off. Is this all correct. I am so confused. Any help on this matter??

I think that's the culprit. You may have control of the lineup and rotation but you aren't giving yourself control of the call-ups. Once the roster is cut from 40-man to 25, the CPU is moving guys around and disrupting what you want.

In order to stop the CPU from deciding on the roster choices from the last day of spring training to the first day of the regular season, you must assign the players you don't want to see in the MLB to AAA/AA or A. If you do this....the lineups will not change and neither will the pitching rotation.
If you "force" the CPU to make any decision...it will make those three choices....roster-lineup-rotation.
Once you do that....it will not change unless you make a change....an injury(which you will get prompted)...a roster move(it won't do it unless you have that to AUTO) or in the case of fatigue.
Even the simmed game lineups will not change this year if you have the profile that has the lineups/rotations to MANUAL set as the DEFAULT.

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe some of my guys were wearing short sleeves for a 51-54 degree game last night. That was an exhibition game.

Thanks guys. Is there a way to not have to take control of all 30 teams?

I just want to start a new franchise with one team. Then all the other rosters will get messed up. That means I have to go to every team and fix. I realize why this is doing it but crazy. Last year somebody set a 25 man roster and it was easy. Just turn injuries off.

Im no stat expert but the advanced stat screen on your player card in rtts has me lost. is there any place I can get the definitions for them? Anyone know what I mean?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. This only happens to pitchers. All PITCHERS are forced to wear long sleeves during night games. I play as the Yankees, by the way.

If I want my guys to wear long sleeves, I'll put them in long sleeves. I don't see why the game should FORCE my pitchers to wear long sleeves for 85% of the season.

For pitchers...the temp must be 70 degrees or higher.

I know they do a major player ratings update around the all star break but do they do minor changes to ratings throughout the season? Also, is there a good roster that uses the OSFM but constantly updates it with real life roster changes/trades? I used one that I thought was good last year but around the october he gave Delmon Young an almost full bar when it is obvious that Delmon Young was one of the worst putfielders in baseball last season (.300 OBP? 10hr? yuk!). Lets just say im not using his roster again.
